'One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Check website for "extras" like weekend food options and fun things across the street, enjoyed the pm music and nordic sauna! Great front porch with a view, lovely tubs in rooms, lots of personality! Definitely read details on room location if guests with mobility issues but lovely! '

'Small but nicely decorated, with an outdoor whirlpool, and a small river view. Peaceful place, very close to interesting attractions, such as Linville waterfalls and caverns, and a beautiful winery open to visitors. Staff friendly and instrumental when asked any questions.'

'An older building does not tell the story. The rooms were immaculate. I had a king bed which was huge. It was quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. The only negative was a small parking lot. '
