'I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+.'

'Every employee was incredibly friendly, even if only passing us in the foyer or hallways. Stacy, the operations manager, was especially engaging, knowledgeable and helpful as we were deciding what to do for dinner and what events and venues were worth visiting. We took all of her suggestions and were thrilled when she was spot-on across the board, from Ye Olde Tavern to the syrup-making tour at Dutton’s to the Vermont Country Store. She’s an asset to your operations.'

'Be ware that a “preferred room” means a room pets can stay in, not a better room! Hallways smelled of itine on side of hotel where pets are allowed. No elevator so mugging suitcases and skis up stairs was trying. Room size large.staff. Staff we dealt with was lovely! '

'I loved staying here and can’t wait to do so again. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. Loved the automated check in with clear directions. The entire place was decked out with awesome ambience and decor. I just wish the hot tub was working. It’s so close to Mount Snow too!'

'The house was nice and the fireplace was lit up when we got home in the evening - so cozy. The area around the pool is fantastic. The pool, air hockey table, pool table, a bar, and outdoor cooking area, it really has something for everyone. '

'We love the Equinox. We usually stay here during ski season. Always looking forward to rest after a long day of ski. Amenities are amazing, the restaurant and bar are great to eat and hangout. '

'What a warm and welcoming place to stay. Beds and pillows were super comfortable, very clean room. Common areas were cozy and clean. You will never find a better breakfast than the 3 course meal we had. Local yogurt, homemade lemon curd, with homemade granola and berries. Then wonderfully cooked frittata with Crème fraîche, local sourdough toast, and a bed of nice greens and radishes. Then the most amazing citrus olive oil cake. There is coffee, tea and homemade cookies always available....

'This Viking Village is fantastic. There is so much eye for details, you really enter a different world. We had a great time there and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The house has everything you need, and is very comfortable. The guide inside the house with tips and suggestions for visiting and eating/drinking in the area is very comprehensive and helpful. Do not mis this place when you are in the area. '
