'The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, lots of towels (yay!). The frig had a freezer compartment (most mini frig's do not). Melissa at the front desk was so kind and helpful to me in every way. My car had broken down and she allowed me to use my room even after checking out until my vehicle was ready. I would recommend the Valley Inn to anyone needing a comfortable, affordable place to stay in French Lick! Appreciations for all the wonderful, personal service!!!'

'I've stayed at this hotel many times for the Thanksgiving weekend. This is the first year that I have had to pay for parking in the deck behind the hotel. I'm not clear if it is the hotel parking lot, but I was charged $17.50 to stay overnight. I wish this had been made clear when I booked as the room might not have seemed such a bargain. When I inquired about it I was told that they are now charging to park and that there were two free parking lots/decks within walking distance. Please add...
