'I stayed 3 nights. I did notice the smell mentioned in the reviews before I booked. Only one person mentioned it. I Booked it anyhow. I figured when I got there that it’s probably the vent (I stayed on the 7th floor) cause it only smelled when the vent in the bathroom was on. 'The view was spectacular. I could see the ocean, the pools, and beautiful grounds from my balcony. We tried several restaurants, all of which were fabulous. Our favorite was Tea of Spring. Thexstaff were very attentive and the food was outstanding. I had a traditional Philippine massage at Chi Spa. It lasted 2 hours and left me very relaxed and feeling uplifted snd rejuvenated.'

'I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)'

'Excellent service! The front desk staff is six star, quite good! I have spent my career in the Hospitality and Resort Industry, they were truly top notch. I would hire them in a second! "No hot water in their so called Spa villa and electricity shortcuts. Very loud and old AC. Bad food in the restaurant. Housekeeping came at 6pm. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Big construction around the hotel. Hotel manager was very apologizing and admitted their mistake in putting us in a villa that was not supposed to be rented. We've agreed on a partial refund that never got approved after we've checked out. Hotels.com were no help in solving this issue! "
