'The staff were absolutely lovely - so friendly, helpful and they made it seem like we weren't in a budget motorway hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature was just right which is rare. Plus it was half the price of other budget chains. Obviously no onsite new but made to look old pub for breakfast like other hotels but that was ok as there was one at the next motorway junction if you were that keen!'

'I did not use restaurant. Although i did use Latte coffee machine 👌. Room was comfortable, bed extremely so👌. All room facilities were great. Staff very friendly & helpful. As a solo traveler i felt safe. Parking the only issue due to its proximity to Trentham Garden, restaurants & shops. People openly parking in hotel parking spaces & walking over to the shops. '

'Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any...

'Stayed for 3 nights at the Clayhanger Guest house. Friendly staff welcomed us when we arrive at the door. semi-private parking behind the building. Nice room with good beds. Ensuite bathroom with shower and small fridge was all we needed. Breakfast service was great. Good value for the price we payed. '

'A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building.'
