FIREFLIES !!!! Summer spectacles. RELAXING hillside setting next to our vineyard with 1 bedroom, full kitchen, patio with bistro table/chairs, electric outdoor grill. Outdoor firepot for watching sunsets. Stroll through the vineyard with a glimpse, of the Mississippi River from 1.5 miles inland. Awaken to the call of the sand hill cranes in the valley floor.. In the evening be serenaded by the sounds of the frogs. From the living room and bedroom observe bluebirds, finches, orioles, robins and other birds in their daily routines. Only 7 miles south of La Crosse, WI dining, shopping, bicycle trails, and hiking trails. Located in Vernon County where many nature activities are available.

What a wonderful location! You literally are at the top of a Bluff in a vineyard! Beautiful sunsets and sitting by the fire was absolutely perfect. And the perfect touch was a bottle of wine and fresh bread! We would absolutely stay here again!

Anniversary road trip

Lovely one bedroom cottage on a little vineyard that was perfect for our stay. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful, and private setting. Greg and Donna are great hosts! Their place is very clean & was supplied with everything we needed for our stay. (Even a nice welcome gift on our arrival ). It was as pictured on the VRBO website. Check in and check out was a seamless process. We had no issues during our stay. We hope to come back sometime! Would recommend this cottage for 2 people who are traveling to the LaCrosse, WI area and want a beautiful & nice place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay to enjoy the Driftless area. It sits on a hillside that offers a nice view. Other homes nearby, but area is quiet. Property is very clean and has everything you need. Will stay again!

Amazing Property clean, comfy, cozy, and beautiful!!

We enjoyed the views and there isn’t anything we needed while at the property. The outside fire was set up for us. We grilled and cooked and had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, and cozy! Bonus was a bottle of wine and bread! Yummy!! We love the area and it’s worth not being in town. Greg and Donna have it figured out. They are responsive and very kind. If you are not sure where to go hiking or want a recommendation for a winery, give them a call. I just can’t say enough about the great stay! This was a return stay for us. Our last visit was 4-years ago and it was just as lovely then! Thank you Greg and Donna!!
