'Knowledgeable and helpful staff (thankyou Deb!). Everything was clean and tidy and the rooms are as advertised. Not all washing machines in the laundry were in working order which delayed me doing my washing, but this did not have a huge impact to the trip.'

'Alex Hotel is the perfect location for relaxing in the city. Location is 'cool' (Northbridge) and the vibes in the Alex Hotel are.......Alex. Healthy food and guests with slippers, but than the Aussie posh/classy way. Not Vogue or Harpers Bazaar, but Cosmopolitan. It is Australia so 'no worries mate! Yes the Alex is relax and chic but the Aussie way. And I think than that you understand what I mean.. '

'I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked my room at Ibis, but I have to say how amazing this whole place is. The reception staff were so helpful, guiding me to the closest laundromat and also where to park. Although I wasn’t at the hotel for long I am happy to say I had such a peaceful sleep, the bed was so comfortable, everything was so clean and fresh, plus it’s nice and close to the airport. 'Very nice hotel and nice staff in CBD area. Room was not big but convenient enough for a couple. The room was equipped with a small kitchen, which was a plus. Only two negative points... 1. Not enough closet space. We stayed for a week so a bit more closet spaced would have been nice. 2. The hotel does not have a parking. They offer parking at a garage close by. Or you can park on the street till 7:30am'

'Voor een paar nachten prima. Beter niet voor dit hotel koezen als het warm of juist koud is buiten. Wij waren er in mei (begin winter) en het was nog best warm. Een raam open zetten hebben we de eerste nacht gedaan, maar het vuilnis wordt midden in de nacht opgehaald, als ook de straat schoongeveegd. Je hebt de hele nacht lawaai op straat als je aan de kant van de weg zit met je kamer. Tweede nacht raam dicht gehouden en geprobeerd de airco aan te zetten. Dit kon niet, alleen op verwarm stand....
