The entire private apartment (1,200 sq ft) above this historic home in Tarpon Springs Fl. is yours to enjoy. Located minutes from some of the countries most beautiful beaches. Walk to our famous Greek Village and sample some of the worlds best seafood and Greek cuisine. This home is only steps from Spring Bayou where you can watch the manatees frolic in the water. A short walk will bring you too our Antique district or the Greek Village where you can shop or eat to your hearts content. This apartment home is located in a quiet area and includes two bedrooms, living room, fully equiped kitchen, one bath,a large private deck for sunbathing. There is a private entrance to the second floor. There are stairs to access the apartment so some with disabilities may have trouble navigating. One bedroom has a comfortable Queen size bed and the other has a comfortable full size bed. We can provide an inflatable bed if you need additional sleeping space for your family. Nearby attractions include Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Ray's baseball, Buckeneer Football, two hours to Disney and all Orlando attractions. Staying at John and Lena’s place was a highlight of our paddling trip. The apartment has real character and felt like a proper home rather than a generic rental. The beds were comfortable, the balcony was a great spot to unwind in the evening, and the location was perfect for what we came to do. The paddling launch site was just a few minutes on foot, so we could grab our gear and go without any hassle.The kitchen had most of what we needed. A few items were missing on arrival, including bowls, baking sheets, tongs, and saran wrap. We mentioned it to John and he dropped everything off the same day with no fuss. We would happily book again.

This is a beautiful, very well maintained historical property, with modern amenities that don’t take away from the historical charm of the home. Location was great, everything else was disappointing! First, it says separated private entrance, which the unexpected male painter surprised us using! We were two mature female friends celebrating our birthdays, and in walks a man that we were not expecting! He was there the rest of our stay every morning until 4 pm!It was hot in the apartment because there are only two window units in the bedrooms. The kitchen was so hot, no way we would cook in there! Living room was only tolerable at night after running the window units all day with the blinds shut! Kitchen door has a 1/2 inch crack in top of door, which let roaches in! The freezer does not work and could not make ice! The only nice thing was the location.

You can't go wrong with this place! It's clean, comfortable, has a great patio, and the hosts are great communicators! It's location is such that you can walk many places and ride bikes. Loved that the park was a block away too!

We enjoyed it very much. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The hosts were kind and accessible when I had a small problem. The place was centrally located for anyone wanting to see the Tarpon Springs area. I would really love to come back in the fall or winter when the patio/deck area could actually be used. Unfortunately in late July it was much too hot. All in all a nice place for a get away.

My wife and 17 year old daughter stayed 2 nights at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. We took the opportunity to eat Greek food the whole time while in Tarpon Springs, visited the Historic Museum (one block away) and generally relax after a few days on the road. The property is located right in the historic district and that was nice for walking around while viewing the various types of architecture. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We'd definitely recommend it.
