    ย is al meer dan 60 jaar lid van de Hall-familie en is momenteel eigendom van en wordt geรซxploiteerd door Myrtle Hall. Myrtle is in Duitsland geboren en verhuisde in 2000 naar Indian Rocks Beach toen ze met haar overleden echtgenoot, Ned trouwde. De grootmoeder van Ned kocht het landgoed Indian Rocks Beach in 1946. Ned's vader George Hall bouwde het eerste gebouw met twee verdiepingen in 1952. Het Gulf Cottage met รฉรฉn verdieping volgde in 1972. De familie van Ned woonde hier in de winter en bracht de zomer door in Ithaca, NY, waar zijn vader meer dan 40 jaar lang de golfcoach aan de Cornell University was. Ned volgde in zijn voetsporen als een PGA Teaching Professional voor meer dan 25 jaar. Hij gaf les aan de Clearwater Golf Club in Clearwater, Florida, toen Myrtle, in Florida tijdens vakantie in Duitsland, hem in 1998 ontmoette. Myrtle en Ned, natuurlijk, hadden hun bruiloft recht tegenover mooie Sandy Shores!

    Net als Ned werd Myrtle verliefd op dit prachtige pand en de rijke familiegeschiedenis. Ned en Myrtle begonnen hun huisjes in 2005 te verhuren na een complete verfraaiing en genoten van elke minuut van het delen van deze mooie woning met hun gasten. Myrtle voert de Hall-familietraditie van gastvrijheid bij Sandy Shores voort en voegt haar speciale merk Duitse warmte toe. Haar aandacht voor detail en netheid maakt Sandy Shores een uniek en charmant toevluchtsoord.

    Surfen, zand en zon, in combinatie met stille eenzaamheid, prachtige zonsondergangen en de schaduw van de Australische dennen maken dit de perfecte plek om te ontsnappen. U zult genieten van een van de mooiste stranden ter wereld - perfect voor een ochtendwandeling of een namiddag beschietingenexpeditie, evenals mooie verzorgde accommodaties. Sandy Shores is een stukje oud Florida op zijn allerbest.

Sandy Shores IRB

Our stay at Sandy Shores was great. The accommodations were awesome, the view is beautiful, the location is good and the host Myrtle is great! We would definitely stay at Sandy shores again!

Great Property & Gret Location

My wife & I had a great and relaxing mini get away. Property was excellent and owner went above and beyond. Great location for relaxation, beach time, and dinners. Highly recommend for a great trip.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival at our Gulf cottage by our host Myrtle. Everything was in order. You can easily tell our host desired for my wife and I to have a fantastic stay. The grounds and cottage were immaculate. We really appreciated that aspect. The images on VRBO directly reflected what we saw. If you are looking for a cozy cottage with awesome views then this gulf cottage is for you.

Beautiful!!

We had the best time here! It was so beautiful. The room had everything you would need. The view was amazing. Loved the short walk to the ocean! Myrtle was such a gracious host! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful find !

We loved our beachfront cottage. It was beautiful inside and out, with lovely gardens all around. The owner was very welcoming and a joy to get to know. Weโ€™ve already booked again for next year.

A week is not enough!

This is a great little property located right on the Gulf coast with excellent eateries right across the street. Myrtle is a wonderful hostess. The property is well kept and very neat and clean. My wife and I love IRB and are planning a return trip here for next year.

Slice of beach heaven!

This is a hidden gem! The cottages are cozy and very clean, and the property grounds are the most beautiful around! Myrtle takes great pride in her cottages and it shows! 5 stars!!!

Awesome!

This place was awesome! A true home away from home - except with a much better location, view and climate ! My adult kids came over and loved it so much they intend on staying there in the near future also. As Arnold would say โ€œIโ€™ll be backโ€ !!

Had a great couple of days at Sandy Shores Gulf unit. The property was clean & direct views of the beach & Gulf. There was some confusion at check-in as the owner was on holiday but it was figured out quickly enough once the person who was there called her.

Incredible beachfront cottage

This is a little piece of paradise. The property was clean, safe and we had great communication with owner. Beautiful beach located right outside of our door and captain chairs overlooking the beach. Walking distance to mamy restaurants.

My wife and I spent a week at Sandy Shores. It was one of our best beach trips ever. From the moment we arrived, the host, Myrtle made us feel at home. The property is a beautiful garden setting located less than one minute to the wonderful Indian Rocks Beach. The lodging is clean and everything you need for a great day at the beach is provided. We can't wait to return!

The details make the difference!

Such a great place to stay! Perfect location on the beach, and across the street from stores and restaurants. The unit was spacious and very comfortable for our family. Everything was thought out from plenty of dishes/pans, condiments, towels, blankets, beach toys, laundry on site, and beautiful outdoor gardens and seating, etc. Myrtle was friendly and helpful. We couldnt have asked for more out of our stay!

Peaceful Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and adorable. We loved the grounds and the view of the Gulf of Mexico. The beach was not crowded and my husband and I enjoyed our late afternoon strolls while watching the sun set. There are excellent restaurants in the area, offering freshly caught seafood. Myrtle was an exceptional and gracious host. We will definitely be coming back especially when we need to de-stress.

Everything was as advertised and even better. PERFECT location on the beach. Just walk out the door and see the Gulf. Unit was laid out nicely. We were somewhat worried about the damage from recent hurricanes, but there was zero effect on the resort and the town has cleaned up quickly. Thank you, Myrtle!

Feels like you are visiting your favorite cool Auntโ€™s house

We so enjoyed our stay at Sandy Shores. Myrtle is so kind and the best host. The view is amazing - the beautiful sandy beach is right there. A sea turtle dug a nest last night on the exact spot we were lounging all day yesterday. The cottage is perfect for 2 and stocked with the necessary items and plenty of extras. And clean - so tidy and nicely decorated. There are so many dining options an easy walk away and a convenience store right across the street. The locals were exceptionally friendly. This was such a positive experience! We will definitely be back to see Myrtle and her beautiful flowers.
