Surf Song #256 - Adorable motel type rental for 2 with direct beach view is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing getaway while enjoying all of the amenities Surf Song Resorts offers! The main living area includes an all new fresh tropical decor, leather reclining loveseat, and flat screened TV with stereo CD, and DVR. A comfortable king sized bed, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker are nicely situated making this room feel larger than it is. Kitchen utensils, linens, extra pillows and sufficient towels are fully stocked upon arrival. Free Wifi Please note this unit does not have a phone.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. This is a nonsmoking unit.

Ideally located near all amenities, including large heated swimming pool, BBQ facilities, and of course, one of a kind Florida beaches, you can find everything you need right here. Across the street is John's Pass Village, a highly popular attraction for all ages. This is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. It's 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Mom and dad get away

The room it’s self was not fantastic, the door to the bathroom had to be shut to be able to do anything in the bathroom, even just getting ready because there was no room with it open. The walls were super thin, we could hear everything the neighbors next door were doing. The room also wasn’t that clean when we arrived. But the location was fantastic, right across the street from John’s pass and we saw so much wildlife at the beach. The guest we met were also amazing, the area was fantastic.

Perfect Location!

Absolutely loved our stay! Room was spotlessly clean, cool, comfortable, right on the beach! Our room was directly over the pool, but this was very family friendly place.We had zero issues with noise or parties.Pool was usually quiet and empty by 9. Everything is so close that we just Ubered from the airport, had a few groceries delivered and relaxed! No stovetop, but three nice gas grills just downstairs. Steps from a beautiful beach (we rented 2 chairs and umbrella for $35 per day--so worth it!). Johns Pass is literally across the street for bars, restaurants, shopping, tons of excursions, all right there. This was by far one of the easiest, most relaxing vacations ever. Great communication, as well. Quick responses to messages and very accommodating. We arrived hours before check-in time and were able to leave luggage at front office. We had some eats at Johns Pass and were notified as soon as room was ready. I really can't think of anything I would change. We're already thinking of another trip back!

This location is perfect for the walk to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. The sunsets are beautiful!!! The description of the room/property was spot on!!! All the guests are friendly, just a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Great location

Surf song is right on the beautiful beach. We had a room with Gulf view. Wonderful to wake up to and watching the sun set. All you need is across the road. No need to drive!

We could not be happier that we found this place. Its super cute and right on the beach. The bed was super comfortable. Surf song is located right across from John’s pass so we saved money on renting a car and just ubered from the airport and everything is in walking distance.

Very clean but noisy

The room was great. Very clean and well decorated. Bed was nice. Had a nice view. Only issue was the noise. You can hear everything going on around you. The pool is directly under your window and is supposed to close around 9 but no one enforces that so there was loud noise up into midnight most nights. You could literally hear entire conversations of the people in the pool.

Fantastic Weekend

Usually we bring the whole family, but this weekend we just brought ourselves, so we went smaller and the room was perfect for two people. It had a condo feel, we had an ocean view, we were right above the pool. It was directly on the beach and we didnt hear any noise at night. Directly across the street from johns pass, we didnt even need to use the car. It was great.

All about the view!

We loved our week long stay at Surf Song 256. The room was clean, decorated cute and the view could not be beat. We were impressed with the grounds and the friendliness of the other renters we met. This unit has all you will need for 2 people and we will definitely return and ask for this unit. The only negatives if I had to come up with any were the bathroom is small..the tv was very difficult to figure out. The first lady I encountered at the office had the personality of a rattlesnake but the other two ladies I spoke with in the office upon check out were fabulous and friendly!!

This was a nice condo with a view of the beach. The window is right above the pool so this may bother some people. The place was clean but the room is very small it’s really just a place to sleep and shower. We were fine with that but I wouldn’t plan on having a family stay here. Some cups and other dinning wear are provided but you don’t have a dishwasher so you’ll have to hand wash everything in the bathroom sink. The walls are very thin and the room has a door that appears to lead to a neighboring room so you can hear any conversations going on we were woke up some days at 8 due to noise and some loud night conversations but overall everybody was quiet. The pool was nice and relaxing with a good stretch of beach steps away. With that said the pool closes at dusk so no night swims if that’s your thing. The place was very quiet with mostly older couples sitting around the pool which was nice. It’s right across the street from John pass which in convient as you’ll probably have to buy your meals out unless you grill downstairs. The food at mad beach brewing was the best we found. There’s also a coffee shop within walking distance. You can find very fair priced breakfast on the boardwalk at the boardwalk grill. The location is good we went in late September so not a lot of people around with kids. Overall it was a good experience for what it is. Again it is mostly a place to stay and shower not really a place to live for a few days. Plan on eating out most of the time.

Condo was great amazing view..RED TIDE WAS AWFUL

The condo was terrific had a great view, however the red tide kept us from going to the beach and The pool, thoroughly satisfied with the condo we stayed in however we had to leave from beachfront at our condo to travel miles and miles to find a beach that didn’t smell to high heaven..just wish we had been notified of theRed tide before making an 1100 mile trip just to NOT be able to enjoy the beaches or the pool!! Had I been given a choice I would have probably postponed my trip and took a small loss and canceled, in hindsight I wish I had of taken a loss in the condo and came at a later date..sisters from Kentucky!

Our first few days were very nice and then a few families came with kids about 8-13 years old and they pretty much took over the pool. Pool was suppose to be closed at 9:30 but they were still messing around and pretty noisy at 11:30. The overall property was great and we would return. Well located and in walking distance to many things and good restaurants.

Fun long weekend!

We only stayed 3 nights and we were told it was the coldest weather since January, but with all that said we still had a very fun time and nice stay at our Surf Song room. Communications were great and they were happy to assist with all our questions. I would definitely come back! (Very conveniently located across the road from Johns pass!!!!)
