Pas du tout VIP ! Valet parking was not available, no parking space available in the hotel, we had to park in a nearby public parking lot where we must reactivate payment before 7:00 AM... Not VIP at all! »

However, we were very understanding about the lack of a bed for our queue despite a reservation for 3 people..., the lack of delivery of our breakfast on the first morning, which we had to take and pay for elsewhere, the lack of response to our 2 emails for clarification on parking and the progress of this famous first breakfast delivery, the absence of any commercial gesture for these shortcomings.... »

« The room was perfect - large, clean, quiet, comfortable, and modern. It felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room in all the right ways. The kitchenette was equipped with all the comforts of home and then some. Linens were great and the bed was super comfortable. Staff was welcoming, helpful, and personable. « Beautiful historic boutique hotel with all the southern charms. Comfortable, clean with some nice extra touches like free water and brekky. Also free parking across the street and right near the waterfront. Within walking distance of King Street and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. »

« loved it for most of it... only small detail... no rooftop pool ;)) the general feel is splendid... very Mad Men... the location is ideal and thanks to the great Concierge service we enjoyed walking distance dining that was really a joy... perhaps the room service could be improved (the breakfast in room is far too expensive...) but the quality of the food in this hotel is very serious! well done to the Chef... even our last minute snack before we took our flight was lovely: try that home made...

« Great stay. The carriage house was located central to downtown Charleston and walkable to all the great activities downtown. Staff was friendly. »

« The staff deserves a huge shout out. Car pick up by calet. Bags taken to our room while we were out on a carriage ride. Returned to our room found a complimentary bottle of persecco spotless very comfortable room. Car delivered to door and bags loaded all without a hitch. Excellent stay at this very centrally located hotel. »
