A secluded cabin by a real stream (not a drainage ditch). Beautiful setting and cozy accommodations. Hope to come back. Bring your fly-fishing rod for sure.

The cabin was cozy and clean. The setting was peaceful with the river flowing right next to the cabin. Communication with the host was excellent!

We had a great week. The place was just as advertised - cozy and private with a great view and sounds of the creek. We will definitely be back. I could have stayed forever!!!!

Throughly enjoyed the peace and quiet

Clean and enjoyable stay. Enjoyed the nights out on the porch. The sound of the river was amazing.

Beautiful Private Location!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Sparta area! This is a nice secluded spot but still close enough to town to run and get things you need. We will definitely visit again.

This home is perfect for families with children looking to relax. There is ample space for kids to play outdoors and area is secluded and quiet. We will surely be back!!

This house was perfect for our weekend stay visiting Sparta for a wedding! Susan is so incredibly nice and accommodating, you can tell she really cares for her guests. The cabin was spacious enough for 5 adults and offered ample parking. If we’re ever in the area again, I will definitely consider rebooking!

Convenient and serene.

We had family together to attend a graduation just ten miles away. It was so great to have the quiet, serene atmosphere and still be so close to town. The location of the cabin was amazing!

Perfectly Simple

Easy to get to and close to the grocery store. Wonderful creek access. Cabin was a great layout. Not as private as I had anticipated, but overall a good stay and would go back.

Great place to unwind next to the river. Perfect for wading and floating . Close to town but secluded too. Host was excellent!

Such an isolated, beautiful cabin on a peninsula to the little river! So peaceful! The kids loved playing on the sand hills that were made after hurricane Helene came through the area. Four fish were caught!

Lovely cabin

My family had an excellent time in sparta. This cabin is in a great location of Sparta. Very private and the creek by the house was very peaceful listening to from the porch. Some small walking trails on the property too. We had everything we needed in this cabin. Would definitely stay here again.

The owner of the cabin was a very nice lady the cabin itself was a very nice structure that the core was mediocre and as far as being a secluded cabin it is definitely not yes it is on the river but this is Public Access to the Little River for trout fishing several Vehicles all through the day not a lot of privacy and I do not write this review to hurt anyone but just to help future guest this part of the river is severely damaged by Helene the property property grounds were definitely underwater because there's at least five acres of nothing but sand that surrounds the cabin although there are beautiful Laurels around the cabin there is a lot of debris in the woods and the river actual full size riding lawn mower wrapped around the tree several pieces of homes and debris left from Helene as far as the cabin very nice and full of anything you need and yes it is a trout River but you will find it hard to catch a trout there because there are so many people that frequent this spot if you're looking for a cabin to stay in that's private this is not for you if you don't mind lots of visitors on the property grounds this is for you because it is a public walk-in just telling the truth

Family gathering

Very pleasant and well stocked cabin in beautiful setting. Agent was very courteous and helpful. Had weather permitted we would have loved walking in the Little River. Hope to go back.

Beautiful property

The cabin was as described. Very pretty property with a river running around the property. The cabin had an ample supply of towels and cooking utensils. Cabin was located close to downtown Sparta with a few restaurants, a grocery store, and shops.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

We booked this cabin somewhat last minute for a quick getaway to see some family. Location was right outside Sparta and an easy commute. Property was very clean and had all the basics. Really enjoyed the remote feel of the cabin and the kids enjoyed playing near the river. Overall will likely be back if the need arises.

Cabin by the river

Very cute cabin close to Sparta. Location was great. Despite other reviews my GPS found this place with no problem. Aside from low stock of paper goods (which really wasn't an issue as we got more in town) it was great. Yes floors are creaky. It’s an old house. It is part of the charm. Will definitely stay here again.

Short vacation

We wanted to get away for some rest and relaxation. This was accomplished! We fished, played in the river, enjoyed watching the deer, and explored. Our fur baby also had a great time! He especially loved all the sights and sounds nature had to offer. We had an amazing time! We will hopefully return soon. Host, Susan was great!
