Sapphire Unit 1706 is on the 17th floor of the South Tower at 410a Padre Blvd — the iconic teal complex you cannot miss crossing the causeway onto South Padre Island.

Three bedrooms, two baths, up to 8 guests, with ocean and beach views from the living room and master suite. Open-concept kitchen with eat-in breakfast bar, high ceilings, all-tile floors, and an in-unit washer and dryer. The $60+ daily resort fee is built into your rate — no surprises nor hidden fees. The Space:

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for real home cooking. High-speed WiFi and smart TVs are throughout the condo for work or winding down after the beach.



Five reasons to book:



Two private balconies give you two completely different experiences: the ocean-facing balcony looks straight out at the Gulf from the 17th floor, and the bayside patio comes equipped with an electric grill for family cookouts in the open air. Both are furnished, both are private, and up here the views stretch further than you expect.



The master suite’s bathroom is the kind that changes your morning routine for the better — a garden soaker tub, a glass shower stall, and a walk-in closet, with an ocean and beach view you can see from the bedroom itself.



Unit 1706 sits on the south-facing side of the South Tower with an unobstructed sightline to the SpaceX launch facility. Margaritaville Resort is right next door — multiple restaurants and bars within a short walk without leaving the south end. Sapphire’s 24/7 front desk handles security and guest services around the clock, and a covered porte-cochère at the building entrance makes unloading luggage and groceries easy. Luggage carts and grocery carts are available in the building.



SLEEPING (Up to 8 Guests)

Three bedrooms with bedding for up to 8 guests. The master suite has a direct ocean and beach view and a private en suite bathroom. The 8-guest maximum includes infants and children.



PARKING

Two covered free parking spaces are included in the covered garage at no additional charge — parking is free here, unlike hotels on the island that charge for every car. EV chargers are available in the garage for Tesla and other electric vehicles for a fee.



NEIGHBORHOOD

Property is next door as mentioned to Margaritaville Resort & you are permitted to use their restaurants and bars, but not the pool.

SAPPHIRE HOA CHECK-IN

Sapphire requires two HOA documents before check-in: a rental and house rules agreement, and a property form listing all guest names and vehicles. We pre-collect and email both to you for electronic signature before arrival — it is straightforward and we walk you through it.



Wristbands are issued at the front desk at check-in and must be worn throughout your stay. No unregistered guests are ever permitted at this property; the front desk enforces this without exception and you cannot name change guests.



SPRING BREAK AND EASTER (SEMANA SANTA)

During mid-March and Easter week, the Sapphire HOA requires:



* Primary guest must be 30 years of age or older, and the group must be immediate family only — parents and their immediate children. No extended family, no friends. Under the HOA’s definition, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins do not qualify as immediate family during these periods.



The front desk strictly enforces this and will not allow check-in if the requirements are not met.



The rest of the year, the primary guest must be 25 or older and the group may include anyone, up to the 8-person maximum.

High-speed WiFi is included throughout the condo; please note that Spectrum service can be spotty at times, so come prepared with a hotspot on your phone if you have must-do work as it can go down.

POLICIES

The Sapphire property requires the primary guest to be 25 or older year-round (30 or older during Spring Break and Easter — see section above). Three-night minimum stay. A signed digital rental agreement and valid photo ID are required before check-in. You must read and agree to all house rules prior to booking — we are happy to answer any questions before you arrive. Strict cancellation policy applies. No smoking, no parties, no loud music at any time. No pets. The property is security patrolled at night.



SELF CHECK-IN & MANAGEMENT

Guests have full access to our private three bedroom condo, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, an in unit washer and dryer, and two furnished private balconies. One balcony offers direct ocean views, while the bayside patio features an electric grill for outdoor cooking. During your stay, you will have complete access to the premier Sapphire resort amenities, including the island longest swimming pool, a large heated jacuzzi, a private game room, and a 24 seat movie theater. You are also welcome to use the fitness center, the full service spa, and the private beach access with an outdoor shower. Two covered parking spaces in the garage are included, and electric vehicle chargers are available on site. Please note that while you are welcome to visit the restaurants and bars at the adjacent resort, the pool area there is reserved for their guests only.

Located on the vibrant south end of South Padre Island, our condo places you in the heart of the action while maintaining a serene coastal atmosphere. You are positioned right next door to the Margaritaville Resort, giving you easy access to their various restaurants and bars. For your dining convenience, a fantastic selection of local eateries is just a short three hundred and fifty yard stroll away. You can enjoy a quick bite at Tropical Smoothie Cafe or Johnny Rockets, savor fresh flavors at Kohanmi Sushi or Calacas Mexican Tacos, or indulge in a delicious meal at Russo Family Italian, Dirty Als Seafood Dive, or the upscale Sea Ranch Restaurant. Whether you are looking for a casual lunch or a fine dining experience, everything you need is within comfortable walking distance.



Getting Around:

Getting around South Padre Island is easy and convenient. We provide two complimentary covered parking spaces in the building garage, and electric vehicle chargers are available on site for your convenience. If you are arriving by air, the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is the closest major hub, typically located about a forty minute drive away. For those preferring public transit, the island offers a free shuttle service that runs along the main corridor, and additional free parking can be found at the island intermodal bus station or near the local post office if you are traveling with extra vehicles.



Other Things to Note:

To ensure a smooth stay, please note that Sapphire requires all guests to complete a digital rental agreement and submit photo identification prior to arrival. Check-in begins at 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old, or 30 years old during Spring Break and Easter weeks. Our complex strictly enforces quiet hours from 10 PM to 9 AM, and no parties, smoking, or pets are permitted. Two covered parking spaces are included. Please leave the unit in good condition by following the departure instructions provided in your welcome guide to avoid additional cleaning fees.
