« Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! »

« The room was clean enough, maybe a little dated. We were on the ground floor, but on the side of the HGV parking bays and the exit road for the Services which was understandably noisy 24 hours a day. The room was unbearably hot, although there was a fan which merely moved the hot air around. The Reception was beautifully air conditioned and I considered grabbing a duvet and sleeping there! Staff were friendly and helpful. But it is what it is - a hotel at the motorway services. It does a job. »
