'Exceptional place to stay in Beppu and wonderful service throughout our stay. Victor was especially helpful during the check in and check out process'

'Nice boutique hotel . Very peaceful'

'Hotel was centrally located near the Kanawa Bus Station/Hells Pools/food steam restaurant. 10min walk from the bus station. The hotel was clean & has an onsen! Tatami rooms w/a kitchen, tiny bathroom (ship size). It is an older hotel, but it was perfect for us. The young man running the hotel was so nice and pleasant.

'If you are travelling to Yufuin, Hotel MODA is a must stay. This hotel is immaculate, with attentive staff. I definitely recommend adding the dinner at the hotel to your stay, it was one of the best meals that we had in Japan and the outdoor private Onsen was amazing!'

'Excellent, well-appointed onsen. Not fancy “western spa” but a great opportunity to experience a rural onsen in a small mountain town. Very helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. Couldn’t be better.'
