The village of Sonntag is located in the heart of the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal. Around the village church in Sonntag, the settlements of the largest valley community are widely scattered. Directly opposite the biosphere park, the small cable car takes you to the Sonntag-Stein hiking area in just a few minutes.



Families hear the sounds of nature in a whole new way on the Klangraum.Stein theme trail before fortifying themselves for new adventures at the barbecue area with a homemade calzone from the clay oven.



A few steps away from the barbecue area, a new playground with water games and a special cave in an old lime kiln has been created.



Sporty hikers climb the Wandfluh or the Breithorn and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Great Walser Valley. Climbers will find their challenge at the climbing wall of the Wandfluh.



And the crowning conclusion of every tour in the Sonntag-Stein hiking area is a visit to one of the catered huts.
