We stayed for two nights over New Year’s Eve at the Alsik Spa Hotel, and overall we were very impressed with our stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and extremely clean. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. We had booked a Junior Suite with breakfast on the 8th floor, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, stylish, and impeccably maintained, and the view was fantastic – especially over New Year’s Eve, which made the stay even more special. Breakfast was excellent, and the overall service, room quality, and hotel atmosphere were outstanding. We would absolutely love to return.
The only real downside was the spa area. Even as hotel guests, access to the spa comes at an additional cost, which is quite high. Although hotel guests pay less than external visitors, a 3-hour spa slot costs over €40 per person, which is not insignificant. The spa itself is clean, modern, and very well equipped, so there is nothing to complain about in terms of facilities. However, at this price point, one naturally expects excellent service and hospitality.
Unfortunately, this is where our experience fell short. Some of the spa staff appeared unorganized and not particularly friendly, at times even a bit condescending. For example, after our spa visit, we simply asked for a fresh bathrobe to use in our room, as the spa bathrobe was completely soaked.
