'Well appointed home in Fort Davis, 2 minutes from town but feels very secluded. Wonderful antique furnishings and great kitchen. 25 minutes to McDonald Observatory and 30 minutes to Balmorhea State Park (don’t skip this swimming hole, it’s awesome!). 'We used the place as a base to explore Fort Davis, Alpine, and Marfa. Went to Star Party at McDonald Observatory as well. This is a great location and the house is just a few blocks from downtown Fort Davis. House was great, even better than described online, and central air was huge blessing when temperatures hit 100 outside. Not much to do in Fort Davis though.
