Welcome to your home away from home in the heart of Sister Bay!

Leave your cares and car behind because you are just steps away from the heart of Sister Bay and the Sister Bay Marina. Fabulous restaurants, bars, shopping, galleries, coffee shops, beaches, music venues and more await you in this beautiful village. If exploring nature and outdoor activities are your style, there are state parks, miles of trails to hike, bike, or paddle within minutes of this perfectly situated location.

This charming home has a fully equipped kitchen for at home meal preparations. Stock up on groceries and essentials at the Piggly Wiggly- just a minute away! If you're looking to take a break from kitchen duty, take advantage of the vast variety of food options within walking distance. Don't forget a Door County "must-do!" Visit Al Johnson's, just 2 blocks away, for a great breakfast and visit the goats on the roof!

The home sleeps 6 comfortably with a bedroom and full bathroom on the lower level and 2 separate sleeping areas with a full bath on the upper level, including a large open space, a perfect hang-out for kids or teens. A day bed is available if a bit more sleeping space is needed.
linens are provided for each guest. Don't forget to bring your beach towels and sand chairs for days in the sun and surf!

After a day of Door County adventure, come home to ease and privacy.
Relax inside by the fireplace, enjoy a beverage on the front porch, or lounge in the yard where you'll be able to grill out or wind down around a campfire. If nightlife beckons, indoor and outdoor establishments with craft beer, cocktails, bowling, and great music are just a block away!

Adorable house so close to DT Sister Bay we could walk home with all our shopping treasures. The kitchen well stocked (even with candy) and there is lots of family space. The host is very easy to communicate and has lots of information, he even left us a note to tell us about the monarch chrysalis on the porch. We enjoyed watching it develop and then fly away. The bedroom with the twin beds is more loft style, with it being open to the stairway that leads to the kitchen. The queen bedroom's access for both bedroom and bathroom access is thru the twin room. It was not a big deal, just less quiet or private for the twin bed users. Certainly perfect for family.We will stay again.

This was a beautiful home and everything was extremely comfortable. The home had everything we needed for our weeks stay. There was nice outdoor space and we took advantage of the fire pit and grill. It was a very short walk to restaurants and marina, and short drive to state parks and other towns in Door County. Communication with the hosts was great.

What a charming home! Loved staying in Joan and Dennis’s house in Sister Bay. Everything we could have needed was available and well maintained. The home is thoughtfully appointed and tidy! Would definitely stay here again. Just a 3 minute walk into town.

This beautiful house is in an excellent location with a 5 minute walk to downtown Sister Bay. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with essentials. The quiet location allowed us to drink our morning coffee while listening to the birds. One of the best VRBO's we've ever stayed at. We will definitely be staying here again. This place was perfect for us. Only a block from the main street of Sister Bay, and it was clean and comfortable. We had a minor problem at check in but the owner quickly responded and the rest of the trip was perfect. Big thumbs up.

Repeat visit - better each time!

This is our third time staying here with our family, it's starting to become a tradition with the kids. As in the past, everything was perfect and comfortable. The house is great for kids and even larger groups. The location is perfect, a 5 min walk to the main street in Sister Bay and has everything you need for a multi-day visit. The hosts are so thoughtful and welcoming and we really feel like we're at home when we stay here. Will absolutely book again and look forward to doing so!

Great girls getaway

Fantastic property walking distance to Sister Bay. The property has every comfort of your own home and is decorated beautifully. With several areas to entertain, rock on the porch and even have a grillout and cozy fire in the wonderfully lanscaped back yard. Stayed here for a girls getaway, the owners even left us fantastic local coffee, cute pink cherry mugs and delicious baked goods. Will be returning for sure!

Incredible property with everything guest focussed!

It is an incredibly clean and beautiful home with everything you need. We were greeted with a locally made by as soon as we walked in, along with a full kitchen with new applicances and everything you can think of for cooking (if you choose). They even provided coffee filters and along with so many other amenities. There was a bed for all 5 of us to sleep alone and the mattresses were comfortable and bedding was perfect. We even had the retro Ms. PacMan game in our bedroom! There were several places for us to relax for a girls trip. Living room has a big tv and gas fireplace. Two different tables to play games at. Outside we loved the front porch with rocking chairs each morning with coffee and waving at some locals and tourists as they went for morning walks. The patio and deck were wonderful places for us to hang also. So many great places to sit and enjoy. Tons of outdoor games and indoor board games. The decor is so cute throughout and we can't say enough about how clean and adorable this home was for our time away! Bonus is that it is walking distance (a block) from all of the action of Sister Bay which was wonderful. The owners were above and beyond welcoming and gracious from clear communication and kindness! They also have a huge info board with tips and suggestions for Door County and the home. So well done and no wonder all of the guest comment books are so full of love and enjoyment from their home. Will definitely use again if we return!

Opening the Door to Door County

From the moment we opened the door, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The description of the property and the associated positive reviews met and exceeded our expectations. This cozy property was just a short distance from main street and was ideal for our generational family of six. It was well accessorized even down to the toys and yard games for the kids. Sister Bay was a pleasurable place to visit and staying here made it even more memorable.

Loved everything about this house and the hosts were amazing! The home is beautiful and comfortable. Location is perfect. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants in Sister Bay but just far enough off the main road to escape from the hustle and bustle. From the moment you walk into the house, you will feel the personal touches from the hosts. A lovely welcome gift, local coffee, big fluffy towels in the bathrooms and well stocked amenities just to name a few. Would definitely stay here again!
