'Great location, rooms were clean but small and old fashioned. Electric shower head with loose wires. Price compared to rest of Costa Rica overpriced. Location was great however, close to the beach and start of tours to Corcovado. We paid around 100 euros a night for a standard room. You have to take some stairs for some rooms up hill so keep that in mind. '

'I was at the last cabana on the ridge. It had a kitchen in an attached room. It was great to bring back leftovers, make coffee and enjoy local fruit. There were 2 beds, a king and queen. The shower was walk in and everything worked well and was very clean. I ate at the table on the patio, enjoyed the hammock, and entertained by a multitude of birds, ant eater and ajouti. I would definitely come back.'

'Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. They arranged tours for us and the father is also a taxi driver so took us to the airport at the end of our trip for a reasonable price. 'My husband and I found this property that was right in the beach. You can hear the waves you are that close. We took walks on the beach and Kenneth helped set up the scuba and snorkel trip we too that picked us up on the beach !! We had a room with outdoor kitchen and balcony with hammock and a view of the ocean. We would return to the same room if we visit Drake Nay again !!'
