The cabin is just like the pictures, we had the best time, went with my siblings and spouses. Teddy was the best Host ever! We enjoyed the fire pit making s’mores, views of the lake as we sat on the screened in porch watching the boats, birds go by. I think our dogs had the best time of all, fully secured fenced in front yard. They could run and play off the leash , a dog’s paradise, the squirrels kept them entertained and wore them out. My brother, sister and I along with our spouses had the best time, so many laughs , made wonderful memories at the cabin! We liked to thank Teddy for a wonderful time- such a great experience!

Charming cabin

We loved our stay. The cabin is very spacious and so nicely decorated! Truly one of the best cabins we've ever stayed at! We were able to use the canoe and the kayaks with ease. We visited Silver Springs State park (about 15 mins away) and Zip Canyon in Ocala (about 30 mins away).The cabin is located next to a lake, which makes it very special. To enhance this natural beauty, we would recommend cleaning up the entrance to the lake and adding a layer of sand. This small addition would create a welcoming touch, elevating the overall experience (just a suggestion). We'll for sure be back! Our kids also loved it.

Relaxing time

The place is beautiful and very clean. The view across the lake was amazing and very relaxing sitting on the porch. However, there were a few things I would have liked different during our four night stay. We only had 1 dishcloth and 1 dish towel. Also my husband and I only had 3 towels and 3 wash clothes ((The same for our two friends who stayed upstairs.) and there were no extra blanket for on the bed. It was 39 degrees one night. I would stay agai but I would take some towels and a blanket.

Property was in a great lication. Quiet but close to activities. Nicely furnished and fully equipped kitchen. Able to use the canoe, kayaks, and pedal boat. Fishing right in the back yard.

I stayed here with my adult children. The home was very nice. We all loved the screened in porch. Lots of things to do in the area. Our favorite was kayaking down Silver River. We went on a few other hikes in the area and played frisbee golf

My husband I checked in and we had a couple issues in the beginning. Owner was quick to respond, which was nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and the softest sheets and cabin is as cute as can be. I would recommend this property.

Lake Cabin

This is our 2nd time staying here and loved it! The property is gorgeous and it's nice having the canoes and kayaks to use. The only downside was our poor dog ate a shrimp with a hook on it and it got lodged in his esophagus. We had to take him to UF Emergency Vet Hospital. He stayed 3 days, but is doing well now. We would definitely stay again!

Just got home from a fantastic girls trip to Sliver Springs. We stayed at this lovely cabin for the long weekend and it was perfect. It has everything we needed. Cabin was clean, well appointed, location was super convenient. We had no problems during our stay. Would definitely return and recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Silver Springs

Delightful

I love this beautiful cabin. It feels like you are in the middle of the woods. The scenery with the lake is great. The location is ideal if you enjoy tithe tropical feel of central Florida. We spent a lot of time exploring the area particularly the OcalaForest. We loved kayaking the many natural springs, bird watching and hiking. My only request is for the kayaks at the house be more accessible. We did not go out on the lake because we co8ldnt move the kayaks easily

Beautiful place to share with the family, it met all expectations and more than we expected. Beautiful decoration of the cabin, clean, enough kitchen utensils, as well as in the bathroom. My children really enjoyed the bonfire at night, the canoes in the lake.Super quiet and spacious place.We suggest it 100%.

Lazy Lake Time….

Had a relaxing last minute getaway weekend in the country. Very flexible and communicative host, clean house, very cozy. The screened porch and fully fenced front yard was perfect for hanging out with the pups. Close to Silver Springs for an epic paddle!

Even Better Than the Listing

The house and property are fantastic! It is well kept and clean. We particularly enjoyed the screen room, and the dock and boats. We took day trips to NASA, St. Augustine, Silver Springs, and the Rainbow River. The kitchen could use upgraded pots and pans, dishes, and food storage containers. It would be nice if the bathrooms had blow dryers and hand towel racks. I never know what to expect at a rental house; for this house I needed to buy facial tissue, food storage bags, beach towels, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. I would rent this house again and highly recommend it!
