« We had a pleasant stay overall. The house was clean and tidy, with a good heating system that kept the place comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with enough utensils for cooking, which was very convenient. We also really enjoyed the Jacuzzi during our stay. The only feedback we would mention is that it was sometimes difficult to reach the host when needed. Additionally, the shower in the bathroom did not have enough water pressure. « We had a very nice overnight stay at the Crown. Staff were kind & welcoming on arrival, the room was clean and comfortable and well appointed, we had dinner in the restaurant which was really nice, drinks were a big pricey but I guess that's hotel pricing. Breakfast was really good, freshly prepared and very tasty. All in all really good, the only minor negative was the dated bathroom in our room, however the shower was really good, powerful and plenty of hot water so, does that really matter? »

« Lovely clean room with a nice bathroom. Perfect for a short stay. Came with tea/coffee, a television and free WI-FI. No mini fridge. We didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of hot food and a continental breakfast. No road noise or unusual bumps in the night so had a wonderful, peaceful sleep. Useful parking at the rear of hotel and easy access to the town of Thirsk. Overall a lovely stay. Lovely staff. Lovely food and a lovely part of the world. »

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. We also loved the restaurant - great atmosphere and delicious, high-quality food. Nice place to stay, in the city. No free parking despite stated on Expedia website. Expecting to be refunded by Expedia. »
