  • A great place for groups! Guests enjoy the exclusive and private use of the cottage and 8 acre property on Harstine Island. The space has 3 bedrooms, a media room (with sofa sleeper), 2 bathrooms, a large family room and kitchen the enjoy. There is a woodstove and outdoor fire pit for guests as well. The property has very fast high speed wifi internet.

    A trail meanders through the woods and a small orchard. Relax and warm up in the hot tub under a canopy of trees. Harstine Island State Park and Jarrell Cove State Park are a short drive away w/ access to Puget Sound.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The property is very remote and quiet. We enjoyed seeing the deer roam the orchard in the back of the propertyevery day of our stay.

Loved the family of deer every day and night. Enjoyed the fire pit, and fireplace. Loved the hot tub. Will be back!

A peaceful spot for the 4th of July weekend. Saturday night you could hear the fireworks show outside of town. But nothing too crazy and our dog was able to eventually settle. Highly recommend if you or your pets are looking to escape the chaos. Would rent again.

Had some confusion and bumps with the price increasing related to amount of guests, which was not transparent in the initial listing. Ended up with a much higher rate, the host agreed to remove 100 from the total, but still more than we had bargained for. Beautiful property, great set up. Bedrooms on one wing of the house separated from the living quarters made for a very quiet and restful space. Beds were comfortable, linens were soft, beautiful wood floors.Some suggestions? There were no mirrors in the house whatsoever except for the bathroom, and with a house full of ladies, this was a bit of a challenge. :)I’d suggest bringing a sleep mask, as all of the curtains were sheer and the early morning sunrise made sleeping in difficult.Other than that, hot tub was super appreciated, the house is stylish and comfortable in the kitchen was stocked with basics!

Great place to connect with nature

This property is a true gem in the middle of nature with a lot to do within the property (short walks, hot tub, orchard, huge backward). It was a great way to unplug and connect to nature. The house itself is spacious and looks recently renovated. Hope to be back soon!

Peaceful property

Lovely, secluded property with a peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the deer. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to use the hot tub, but hopefully next time! The host was very responsive and accommodating.

Wonderful Home in the Woods

Very nice home in a gorgeous location. So nice to reconnect with nature. With the exception of the frequent gunshots (I’m guessing the neighbors’ target practice), it was very tranquil. Exactly what we were hoping for! Quality amenities and furnishings. Surprisingly comfortable bed with very soft sheets. Impressively broad book collection and great board game choices! Thanks for a wonderful time!

We liked how remote this property was. Perfect place to disconnect and chill over the weekend. Hot tub was amazing. It was great to be able to bring our dog along. The deer herd (at one point we counted 10 of them) that kept visiting and peacefully grazing in the backyard was an added element of zen.
