« Hotel feels safe and secure. You want an attractive room too but the cabinet that holds the mini-fridge is very scratched and damaged at the bottom. One of the pictures in the room and one in the bathroom appear to be framed sideways. There was a long black hair on the bathroom counter. »

« This is my second time staying there there’s a small Cabin all by itself and it’s called the wee cabin. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Has everything you need I Can’t say anything more than it’s perfect. No matter who you are I guarantee you will love it. It’s gorgeous. »

« The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience. »

« This is an absolutely beautiful cabin with great proximity to Grayson Highlands State Park and surrounding open space. We did several stunning hikes during our stay, and only wished we had more time. The cabin is spotless, and feels like it’s brand new. It has everything you need, including super fast WiFi. The natural setting of the cabin is beautiful and quiet so we ate every meal outdoors on the porch or around the fire pit. This rental definitely has our top recommendation. »

« It was wonderful! A few minor things. The sliding door is very hard to shut and there is a gap at the bottom. Most of the screens have holes in them, big enough for bugs to get in and the plumbing upstairs needs a look at. Other than that, it was great! »

« My husband and I ran away for Thanksgiving. It's a holiday that stresses me out so away we went. We live in Florida, but my heart belongs to the mountains. This adorable cabin is tucked away in the mountains so you feel secluded. It's 400sqft of just right. We loved the decorations and look. Unfortunately most of our plans got rained out, but certainly not anyone's fault and we made do. Would recommend this cute little cabin to anyone. »

« When viewing the property from outside driving up, it is shocking. Looks like an abandoned cabin. That’s for tax assessment purposes. Inside is immaculate! Clean, everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom furnished. A super place to stay. Spotlessly cleaned. Great view of the city yet close. I will always try to return. »

« We had a great time, cabin is has a nice view of the forest. Short drive to downtown West Jefferson with restaurants and shopping. The cabin itself is located within close proximity to a couple of other cabins. It was well laid out, with primary bedroom downstairs and loft with twin beds. Two great living spaces and well equipped with televisions. Perfect for a little getaway weekend. »

« Awesome stay for a couple or small family if you're looking for a quiet retreat. The beds were not comfortable - the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. If you can overlook that issue, it's a great spot for a weekend getaway. We spent most of the time on the screened porch and deck, anyways. Close to West Jefferson and lots of hikes. »
