Amazing cabin with warm interior, hot tub, fire place, projector & magical views

Versalir is a STUNNING 71,5 square meter cabin that stands on a PRIVATE land in the south of ICELAND. The most perfect LOCATION from the GOLDEN CIRCLE and many AMAZING sights. The cabin Versalir is well equipped and beautifully furnished, built by its owners. It can ACCOMMODATE up to 6 people, with TWO BEDROOMS and a comfortable SLEEPING COUCH in the living room. Both rooms have a 55" TV with NETFLIX and TWO TWIN BEDS, that can be joined to make KING BEDS. The living room has a comfortable couch, a RELAXING chair, PROJECTOR for watching NETFLIX with a TWO SPEAKER home theater and a FIRE PLACE. The superb dining room seats up to six people and has a magnificent fully EQUIPPED KITCHEN. The bathroom is very spacious and has a good WARM SHOWER. Also, the deck/patio is accessible from the bathroom.

The views all around the cabin are magnificent with MOUNTAINS stretching out in the surroundings. There's a 120 square meter private deck/patio which lies all around the cabin equipped with a cozy HOT TUB and a BBQ GRILL – Perfect for enjoying the SPECTACULAR VIEWS, STAR GAZING and catching the NORTHERN LIGHTS. Enjoying the SUNRISE and SUNSET at the deck/patio is an incredible EXPERIENCE. The cabin's deck/patio has a WHEELCHAIR ramp beside the entrance and has a FREE PARKING SPACE for up to four cars if parked properly.

At Versalir, you'll experience staying in ICELANDIC NATURE at its finest no matter what the season.

Fantastisch

Wat een fijn verblijf hebben we gehad, een heerlijke cabin, de Hottub met deze sneeuwstormen was fantastisch, de ligging prachtig , en we waren van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor herhaling vatbaar. De handleiding die werd toegestuurd ontzettend duidelijk.

Nice cabin, relaxed stay

We stayed four nights in Versalir and enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in the cabin with four adults and the place was an excellent choice for us. The two bedrooms have excellent beds and the living is spacious. We used the kitchen for breakfast, but also cooked dinner twice. All appliances are available to cook a nice dinner. We also used the hottub once and that was a very nice experience as well, although it took a little longer to heat it up than we had liked. The location of the cabine is good, in the middle of the golden circle, near mayor sites, within reach of sites in the south and about 15 minutes from Selfoss where there are stores, supermarkets and restaurants. Responses to email were prompt and we received excellent driving directions and a complete manual for the cabin that were both very helpful. We had a great four days and certainly recommend Versalir for a stay in Iceland in any season.

Beautiful and cosy cabin. Very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Hotpot was nice, but takes time to get hot. So you need to no before.For us it was no problem. All in all a Perfect stay.

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist optimal für Unternehmungen am Golden Circle. Wir wurden am Anreisetag informiert, dass ein Rohr geplatzt war, uns wurde aber unkompliziert eine andere Unterkunft organisiert.

The cabin is nicely appointed and was perfect for our stay near Selfoss. It is loctaed minutes from Thingvellier National Park, right in the middle of the Golden Circle. If you put in the coordinates from the directions given to you when you book, you will have no problem finding it. Use of a local cellphone is a bonus when contacting local businesses or tour companies. It comes with plenty of kitchen utensils, dishware, and cookware. The guest manual is very well put together and easy to follow. We used the hot tub following the owners directions and it worked fabulously. It could be cleaned a bit better in my opinion, but otherwise it was a comfortable stay. The couch is well worn but comfortable. We did not use the projector tv, however the tv in the bedroom works well. The bed and pillows were also comfortable. The washer dryer takes quite a while to do one small load, so don't expect get laundry done quickly! The bathroom is modern and warm with radiator heat to put your towel for a nice touch.

We loved the cabin! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of sight seeing. The detailed hand book was great to have as well as the phone to get in and out of the gate. Having amenities such as a blow dryer was helpful to not have to pack it with us and save luggage space. The location was perfect for seclusion while still being close enough to Selfoss for easy access to groceries, gas and restaurants.

Eigentlich ein tolles Haus. Einiges klappte jedoch nicht so recht: Netflix war nicht zugänglich (spielte für uns keine Rolle), Hot Tub dauerte Stunden zum Aufwärmen; in dieser Zeit fast keinen Wasserdruck mehr inhouse. Wifi langsam. Keinen Staubsauger, Waschmaschine fast nur mit ultralangen Programmen und Tumbler funktionierte dürftig. Bei unserer Ankunft wars leider mässig sauber; Besitzer reagierte auf unsere Beanstandung und es wurde nochmals nachgereinigt (danke, das war wirklich gent). Hatte insgesamt leider etwas mehr erwartet…

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in dem man sich wohlfühlen kann! Die Ausstattung ist top. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Points of criticism : Shelf for shower baths in the shower is missing. And windows are very dirty! Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable! We found it particularly pleasant that it was so cuddly warm on arrival.

Perfect place to stay!

I did my homework and this was by far the best place to stay for our family of four. It was plenty of room, well managed, and the hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. The nice touches included laundry (soap included!) and a free cell phone we could use which was a lifesaver because our mobile carrier didn't work. The owners were so helpful with all the questions we had before our trip. I LOVED the location. 15 minutes to Selfoss with restaurants, gas station, and groceries. But the house was secluded...quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Truly a home away from home. We highly recommend it!

This is the perfect cabin. Has everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook several dinners. Nearest town is about 15 min away which has several grocery stores and dining options. The hot tub was a great way to end each day
