An awesome experience!

Gorgeous view! Beautiful home

Our family of 8 adults had a fabulous stay! Everyone was happy to have their own bathroom and the beds were really comfortable. In between hikes and excursions we enjoyed hanging out in the house and especially on the deck. Great place to read and relax. The fire pit on the deck was great to let us keep hanging out in the evening. The coffee bar area was well used and appreciated. Questions were answered quickly by our contact. Would definitely go back!

Thanksgiving Holiday!

We booked thru AvantStay for a family vacation Thanksgiving week! We all flew in from both coasts. None of us had been to Sedona - it was a wonderful week! The booking went very smoothly, the house was great and the customer service by the property manager was top notch! Joe answered all our questions quickly and fixed any issues that arose. We had an issue with the hot tub and the fireplace and both were fixed in less than 24 hours. If something was missing from the kitchen, he quickly dropped it off. Customer service seems to be void in some businesses these days, but not at this place! Thanks again Joe!

Sedona getaway

We were a group of long-term friends that converged from across the country. Kind of a "Big Chill" vibe for those of you over 50. The venue was ideal for a long weekend together. The space was great...plenty for each person to have their own space but also multiple areas to hang out together. Lot's of thoughtful details. Great kitchen; awesome coffee/tea nook. For privacy reasons, I don't tend to write many reviews when I stay. However, this merits an exception. If you are gathering with a group of friends and family, you'll definitely enjoy your time here. Also, the staff was very good. Very responsive. Everything went smoothly. All in all, I'd stay here again for sure.

The pictures made the house look much better than it was. The things that stand out are 1) the cleanliness - all eight of us agreed that it was just passable. The bathroom door for the bathroom on the main level was a pocket door which could not lock and needed a stopper to keep it open. This was also true with the bathroom door on the lower level. The area rug in the lower bedroom (with the double beds)) was so dirty that my sister stepped on the rug and her feet were dirty. The owner is spending a lot of time updating some items but it would be most important to take care of these maintenance items first. I could go on and on - there are bulbs that need replacing and two bathrooms had stopped up sinks. AvantStay was quick to unplug them but wouldn’t housekeeping notice this while they are cleaning? One day we come back in the early afternoon and there is a man in the backyard working on something. I would think we would have been warned of this visit. Location was good.

Amazing views and vibed

The home is so nicely appointed. Joe was a pleasure to work with and easy to reach. Beds are comfy, the soaker bath was amazing, loved the big sofa and fireplace, and beautiful custom mural. There are some picky cleaning issues like behind tables and curtains that could be improved, but overall a very nice stay.

Sedona wonder

Property was in great shape, clean and well equipped. Plenty of beds and linens, towels and kitchen equipment. Pool table was a bonus. Plenty of room for our group of 10 to play games in the evenings and all eat breakfast together.

Very well-appointed property. Comfortable beds, nice patio furniture, nice kitchen and Nespresso Machine. The spa was clean and easy to use. We enjoyed the 2-story layout with bedrooms on two-levels. Property manager very responsive to our requests - it was very clear that this is a professionally managed rental. We had a great time.

Beautiful views

Lovely home with fund perks and details - coffee and tea pantry were perfect and the views from the back patio were the reason we booked the house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all comfortable and the pool table and games made for relaxing evenings enjoying the sunset over Chimney Rock. Just gorgeous! Nice quiet neighborhood convenient to all of the best restaurants and trails.

The house was great, lots of room and things to do. My only real complaint is that there wasn’t enough hot water for 8 people. Many cold showers were taken. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this house!

Red Rock Beauty

Our party of six adults spent a week here and loved every minute. We especially loved the breathtaking view from the deck (early risers may see hot air balloons!). The home’s central location was perfect for day hikes, our Pink adventure tour, and daily shopping and sightseeing. When a big breeze knocked over the umbrella the property manager was here within 30 minutes to fix it. This house was a fantastic!

Just as Described & More!

We stayed at this beautiful house for 4 nights last week. It is just as pictured! The owner & manager have done a great job to ensure guests are comfortable in this home away from home. Out of all the vacation homes we have stayed in the last few years, this one is by far the best on so many levels (e.g. kitchen is very well stocked; plenty of towels & supplies in all the bathrooms & kitchen). The attention to detail throughout the house is superb.

Location, location, location!

The selling point of his property is its location. It was convenient to everything we'd come to Sedona to enjoy--hiking trails, good restaurants, area attractions. The view from the deck was stunning! The furniture inside and out was new and very nice. There'd been some work done recently, and there was still evidence in some materials lying about outside. A few of the appliances could use updating. But none of that detracted in a significant way from our thorough enjoyment of the house. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The views of the mountains from the back patio were tremendous––a real highlight. Communication with the owners/property managers was consistent and seamless. Check-in process was flawless. Home appointments were also solid: small details like shampoo + conditioner in bathrooms; well-stocked kitchen with all the basics. More notable than anything, though, was the care the owners took in addressing as many minor details as they could, in order to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. For example, clear instructions on how the heating/cooling thermostats worked; instructions on how door-locking mechanisms worked; labels on cabinet doors, and so on. This signaled to us that the owners are genuinely invested in providing a comfortable stay, and was extremely appreciated, and rare frankly. Strong recommend.

Exactly as pictured!

Roca Roja is in a great location - close to town and had an unobstructed west view of red rocks! The home is spotless clean, spacious and nicely appointed. My family spent most of our home time enjoying the views and sunsets from the deck which has large dining table, seating area (with fire table) and hot tub. We found the side door from parking to kitchen was useful. We enjoyed a movie night in the home theatre area of the huge rec room. Beds were comfortable - everyone slept well. This home was perfect for our family stay in Sedona. Thank you AvantStay.

Perfect house for our family vacation

Perfect house for a large group. Older home but beautifully updated in a great Sedona location. Fantastic view. Very clean. The AvantStay team was excellent from booking to check out. The local manager was exceptional! We would be very happy to stay there again.
