Our favorite place
When we come to visit family in Shoreline, Vern’s Cottage is always our first choice place to stay! It’s clean, comfortable and so conveniently located to downtown Edmonds, the park and the ferry.

My highest recommendation! Best mattress I've encountered at such accommodations. Extra credit for host Joe for going out of his way to help me with EV charging when my car's battery was running low.

Cozy and efficient
Nice clean property in quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked and loved that they had a french press for coffee. Bed was very comfortable. Great tiled shower. Alexa app for various lights plus music. WiFi worked well. Nice home away from home for a visit to Edmonds.

Convenient for visiting family in town
Nice and convenient location for family visiting Edmonds. Walkability to Edmonds is very good, but for other local attractions plan in having a vehicle available. Hosts were friendly and communicative. We would stay here again.

Sweet studio super close to downtown
Vern’s studio is perfect for a nice visit in Edmonds. It’s super close to everything. The cottage is cute and super quiet. Checking in and out of the studio is a breeze. My husband and I would absolutely stay here again.

Review of our 2 night stay
We enjoyed our stay. Liked that there was a washer and dryer to use. Had everything else we needed. Enjoyed having Netflix! We're not real techie, but only found ourselves in the dark once when we couldn't remember the light name! Thought we did pretty good overall!! Stairs were a little bit of an issue, but had a good sturdy handrail.

Perfect in every way!
This property is incredibly sweet, well-maintained, easy access, and the location was ideal for walks, beach time, groceries & restaurants, along with time spent at Swedish Medical Center for medical appointments. Modern Cabin in the trees
This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and modernized with easy access to all major roads and ferries as well as, within walking distance to the lovely town of Edmonds. The positioning of the cabin is very private and you get the feeling of being in the woods, but it’s not rural. There are houses close by so, It feels safe, even coming home late at night . The host’s were easy to contact and were very accommodating and kind. I look forward to my next trip.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we’ll certainly return. Quaint cottage with everything we needed. Within quick walking distance to Edmonds City Park, the ferry and downtown Edmonds. As an added bonus, Joe and his family couldn’t be nicer! We’ll be back!

Beyond Expectations!
Another boring 5 star rating. But only because I wasn't able to give more stars. The studio was cute and cozy, but exceptionally well-designed to provide a spacious feel. True to the website photos in look and feel, the unit was equipped with smart home technology and had some of the special touches found in an upscale resort. The hosts were incredibly gracious and responsive and welcomed questions and feedback. Located on a cul-de-sac, the studio afforded privacy and blessed quiet for a peaceful night's sleep. At the same time it was in walking distance of the marina, ferry, shops, and restaurants. Oh, and there is a lovely little park right across the street. All in all, I could not have been more pleased with my stay, and may plan another trip to the Seattle area, just to stay at the studio again!

Lovely cottage in quiet and convenient neighborhood
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the weather was less than ideal, so we didn't get to take advantage of the outdoor spaces, but nonetheless we still got much amusement from watching the wild rabbits running around the property. The location is within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants of downtown Edmonds. The cottage was cozy and well appointed, with everything you can need in the kitchen. While we never actually met the hosts, they still made us feel very welcome with a friendly handwritten note waiting for us. We hope to return when the weather is better and can take advantage of the fire pit and perfect location.

A Great Find
The studio apartment in Edmonds gave us just what we were looking for. Our grandchildren live 20 min away. They enjoyed visiting. Age appropriate toys were made available. The nearby park was great! Communication with our hosts very efficient. I highly recommend this location and hope to return.

The studio looks exactly as pictured, very nice. It was very quiet and comfy, I slept very well. The fireplace was a nice feature, it really added to the ambience! I would definitely recommend this for a nice little getaway!

Very nice studio with full kitchen
Stayed about 2 weeks and was very comfortable. 15 min walk to town and a little further to the marina. Great communication between the hosts and me . I'd stay here again. Nice restaurants and take out in town.

A Wonderful Nest
This place is absolutely wonderful for a couple- it is complete with all facilities, including kitchen and laundry. A large flat screen TV and electric fireplace faces a couch for cozy evenings. The apartment is centrally located in Edmonds, a pretty, upscale, self-contained community just north of Seattle. Parking out front is convenient. The renter, Joe, was attentive and pleasant and anxious to assure our stay was enjoyable. All in all, a great little nest that we will return to next year!

Location, location!
What a great property! The studio had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, too. We loved that we could easily walk into Edmonds and visit the town, restaurants, the ferry and the beautiful City Park. If you have children traveling with you, the yard is lovely and the playground and splash park are just a few walking minutes away. Joe is a great property owner…responsive and friendly. We can’t wait to return!
