What's nearby:
It is only a block to downtown and a couple short blocks to the beach or the convention center, so you can be there in a flash. Walk over to the sandy shore and hunt for shells, or stroll along Broadway Street and choose a restaurant for dinner, check out the souvenir shops, or stop in at the famous Carousel Mall.

The home was quaint and close to the beach. For the comments about odor; there was a musty smell but it wasn't terrible, and it's a home that allows pets, so you have to expect a slight odor. Quite small if you have more than 4 people but otherwise a great stay.

This is a great little place, the location is outstanding! The house is well equipped with everything you need. The only downsides were accessing the house with electronic keypad, it’s a 10 digit code and didn’t know that the door automatically locks when you shut it. We were unloading and closed the door behind us so our dog wouldn’t get out, leaving behind my phone with the code! Thank goodness my boyfriend had his phone so we could call Vacasa. They answered promptly and gave me the code but after 3 unsuccessful tries it canceled the code. Called Vacasa again and they gave us the code for the backup lock box with the physical key. My advice is to write the code down and leave it in your car just in case. The other drawback was that the furnace is loud, if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs. We would definitely stay here again!

First impression was that it was cute and overall the house served its purpose. Great location! Very close to everything in town. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Overall the place needs a good clean. The dishes still had food on them from previous renters. Also the bbq grill was rusty so we couldn’t use it. The house needs some tlc. There were outlets with duct tape and light fixtures that looked kind of rough. The furniture also was very worn. Some of the chairs felt like they would break when you sit down. So over all cute place and served its purpose but needs some updating and tlc.

Cozy little beach cottage

Close to Broadway and the Prom, so everything is within walking distance. It's a small place, but pretty well kept and there is a nice BBQ grill to make cooking easier.

Great location, poor experience.

My partner and I are from Michigan and planned our elopement at Cannon Beach, OR and rented this place to celebrate our during our stay. The location was perfect and walking distance to downtown and the beach. Unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal working with Vacasa. We were informed a half hour before our check in time (4pm) that the house wouldn’t be ready until 5pm due to cleaning; which was unacceptable with our timeline since our photographer was scheduled to meet us at 4pm. After calling Vacasa, they said we could arrive at 4pm, but the cleaners may still be there. When we arrived, no one was there. The company failed to supply us with more toilet paper, which we had to purchase on our own. We also paid for an extended checkout time, but the door lock password expired before our extended time was up; leaving my fiancé unable to enter the house. Thankfully I was inside and could let him in, otherwise we would have been stuck outside without our luggage. Seaside/Cannon Beach is such a beautiful place and we were thankful to have a roof over our head and felt very safe in that neighborhood, but wished it could have been less stressful; especially during our elopement.

Spring Break upsetting

Showed up to location, yard needed mowed, walked into home full of dust and hair. Bathroim mirror had finger prints all over it, floor not clean, pub in sink and shiwer had soap scum and pubs on shower caddy with pink mold all along the shower caulking. Wash machine is hard to turn on and it is broken, no propane and bbq needs a good cleaning, sand was all over the kitchen table and chairs, furnace filter needs changed asap as it is overloaded with dust. Cobwebs threw out the house, dog hair in window seals, furniture is so wore down its uncomfortable. Beds are so uncomfortable. Very upset with the price i paid to get a vrbo home like this. It needs thoroughly cleaned! I have bad allergies and the dust was so bad my kids were even sneezing and woke up with swollen eyes. I reached out and vrbo said someone would contact me when i complained. No one reached me. You need to check your games and puzzles. Went to play yatzee and its missing dice, put puzzle together and there is missing pieces. Location is very noisy, fireworks were being set off the 1st night. Bums going threw garbage can and very noisy people until 2 am walking the streets.

Great little place

The house was great for me and my daughter (and our 2 pups). Super close to everything and took care of our basic needs. Neighborhood was a little loud at night, but that was somewhat expected considering how close to the main street we were. Wish the kitchen had a few more amenities such as sugar, salt, etc. and wish they provided more games or cards for easy entertainment. Overall we'd stay again.

Long weekend getaway

Bad trip

The smell of the room is disgusting, and the furniture is outdated, as if no one has lived there for a long time. Because our family had to stay for another day, and the cost of the room for one day was 50% higher than that of the reservation. I won't choose to live here again and again in the future.

Close to everything!

My husband and I stay in Seaside every summer after the Hood To Coast running relay to rest and relax before heading home the next. This rental stood out because of it's amazing location (blocks away from Beach, restaurants!) and unobtrusive rental process (LOVE VACASA/VRBO!). We DID NOT receive multiple phone calls the week before, day before, day of arrival and check out day to ask if we had any questions, knew the rules and regulations, etc. We DID NOT have to fill out a 5 page document documenting the state of the unit upon arrival (sorry but I do not want to spend an hour when I first arrive making sure all appliances work, evaluating the furniture, walls, etc which is required by the other rental agency in town). We DID NOT have a papers and papers of instructions/rules/regulations everywhere we looked. We truly felt like guests who were trusted, welcomed and appreciated. The home was well stocked and decorated with charming style. We will seek this place out again!
