'This was hands down the most magical place to stay. Our rooms have a view of the water/marina where we can’t drank our coffee and watched the dolphins every morning. The staff was above and beyond helpful and they included breakfast, snacks and a midday charcuterie board with wine. It’s a 20 min drive to downtown Charleston so you have the best of both worlds- historic Charleston with the beach at Folly. We will definitely be back!'

'Overall, this is a pretty good hotel. It was kept up nicely and fairly clean. My issue is that I don't like places where I can hear people walking on the floor above me or it is so easy to hear people talking as they walk down the hall, and this hotel has both those issues and there's nothing they can do to fix those issues now that the place has been built. 'The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location. Restaurants and shops in walking distance. Easy commute to historic district in Charleston. All rooms are oceanfront. 'Our room wasn't cleaned, the beds were possibly made (couldn't tell for sure) but there were crumbs and garbage from the previous occupants in several places. The bathroom had clumps of hair in corners that had been there for some time. All appliances had caked up dust on them so the room hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. Management was understanding to some extent and offered another room that was equally dirty. We ended up staying the night in the second room after cleaning the bath and...

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '
