The villa comprises two self-contained flats which can be rented together as a single holiday home. This makes Villa Holgenbach particularly suitable for two families, multiple generations or friends who wish to holiday together, whilst also valuing privacy and their own space.

Villa Holgenbach underwent a complete energy-efficiency refurbishment in 2024–2025, resulting in an energy-efficient home (A+). The property features, amongst other things, triple glazing; high-quality insulation in the walls and roof to protect against both heat and cold; a heat pump; solar panels; new radiators; and electrically operated roller shutters. As a result, the villa offers a high level of comfort in every season. At the same time, the outdoor areas have been further enhanced with an attractive canopy over the penthouse’s large terrace and a spacious balcony adjoining the ground-floor flat.

Staying together, with space for privacy
The Holgenbach Penthouse is situated on the top floor and the Holgenbach Flat on the ground floor. Both feature their own living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and outdoor space. This allows you to holiday together whilst enjoying the peace and privacy of two self-contained flats.

The penthouse is the more spacious of the two and makes for a lovely place to get together with the whole group. The spacious living room with a wood-burning stove, the generous dining area and the separate dining room offer plenty of space to eat and relax together. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for extensive cooking and dining together. For larger groups, there is plenty of crockery and an extra-large fridge. You can also enjoy each other’s company outdoors at the large dining table on the spacious terrace, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

Layout of the villa
Penthouse Holgenbach has two bedrooms: one spacious bedroom with a large double bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed. You’ll also find a spacious living room with a large wood-burning stove and a sofa bed, a spacious dining area, a separate dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a separate toilet. The large terrace, measuring approximately 90 m², offers several seating, dining and relaxation areas, a Weber barbecue and a trampoline.

Holgenbach Flat has two bedrooms with double beds, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen-diner and a bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. From the kitchen-diner, you step directly onto the spacious balcony/terrace with a dining table, comfortable seating and a Weber barbecue.

When Villa Holgenbach is rented in its entirety, a maximum of 8 adults per stay applies for your comfort.

Quietly situated yet close to everything
Villa Holgenbach is situated on a quiet street in Schleiden, approximately 500 metres from the town centre with its restaurants and shops. From the house, you can walk or cycle straight into the countryside; the cul-de-sac ends after about 300 metres in the countryside. The Erlebnisfreibad Dieffenbach is also within walking distance.

Discover the Eifel
Schleiden lies in the heart of the beautiful Eifel and is an ideal base for walking, cycling, mountain biking and simply relaxing whilst enjoying nature and the open countryside. Well-known routes such as the Eifelsteig, Wildernistrail and Rur-Olef run through the municipality. Monschau, the Rursee, the Nürburgring, the Vennbahn, Kronenburger See and the Hellenthal Wildlife Reserve are also within easy reach. Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Trier, Maastricht and the wine regions of the Ahr Valley and the Moselle are perfect for a day trip.
