'Clean hotel, nice employees, but there wasn’t a cart to be had for our luggage. I asked for handicap accessibility because my husband is disabled. We were given the room at the very end of the hall. He walks with a cane, but only for a short while. I asked for a wheelchair and was told there wasn’t one at the hotel. The problem was observed by the woman checking us in, but she offered no help. '

The hotel lobby which serves as a dining area was packed on the holiday. Very clean, comfortable rooms; locally sourced toiletries and plenty of hot water. Five stars across the board and we look forward to our next stay. '

'The hotel seemed quite new or well very well preserved. Great room with nice city view. Located close to the center with many options on bars, restaurants and shopping. Reception personnel was very friendly. It may get noisy occasionally due to the train rails and close by sport activities.'

'This hotel is our favorite pet-friendly hotel in downtown Durham. During this last visit, I had inadvertently double booked myself a room directly with the hotel and on Expedia. The check-in host was so kind to cancel the room booked directly with the hotel without penalties. I certainly was not expecting that and figured I'd be paying for two rooms due to my oversight. Thank you 21c hotel. That made my day, and I will certainly return. '
