'Goed hotel, dichtbij Donington Park. Proper ,lekker ontbijt. rustig ondanks dichtbij de luchthaven'

'The hotel is easily reached by bus from either Derby or Nottingham. However, if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in the area, it's probably best to have your own car. In spite of its proximity to M1, the hotel is set in a quiet and pleasant location. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful: one of them was on the same bus as us when we arrived, and kindly walked us from the bus stop to the hotel. 'Great beautiful location '

'Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

'Very basic breakfast, convenient location, good when you need to stay somewhere just to sleep.'

'Although many stars given by me, my all in all result is 3 stars because of the all day long (24/7) heavily humming noise I heard in my room. Luckily I had a couple of earbuds with me that I was going to use during a pop concert, so I didn't hear the noise during my sleep. My room was a single person room, number 31. So if you get that one offerred, immediatly ask for another room.'

'Very small and basic hotel. Very noisy, rooms are located above the pub. Breakfast however was perfect. '

'very good staff, superb food, good bed'

'Salt suite was geweldig. Ziet er heel mooi uit! Bad in de main bedroom en sauna in de badkamer.'
