' The hotel was nice but in need of updating. We had a Japanese-styled room with rice paper doors with many damaged rice paper panels. There was no light next to the bed, only the overhead light. The service was excellent. Lumbini was filled with smoke from surrounding agricultural burns., which we were told were typical in November and December. The smoke was so bad our flight out was delayed 3 hours because the airport closed for poor visibility and smoke marred the view of the Temple,...

'We were located in an appartement. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Note that the cottages are a bit smaller and older. The garden is large, however could be further developed to create a more intimate setting. The dinning room is ok, although sometimes a bit damp.
