Updated Old Florida Studio Apartment Getaway in Central Sarasota

This apt is a breath of fresh air- you'll feel it when you enter and immediately feel calm and at peace. Sparkling clean & spacious with a king-sized, comfortable bed, a full bathroom and kitchenette, & special old Florida style decor gives you the sense of southern hospitality that you're looking for. Central to much of Sarasota, you can be from here to the island of Siesta Key in less than 10 minutes! Whether you're here for business or pleasure, this sweet studio is sure to be a highlight.

THE PROPERTY

The kitchenette includes a mid-size fridge and freezer, microwave, a sink, and open shelving with plenty of glassware, dinnerware, and more. There's a toaster and an adorable coffee maker, and we are happy to provide a small bag of Sarasota Coffee Co. coffee to start your morning out right! There is a small table just in front of the TV with two chairs, and there are two other chairs in the unit you can pull up to the table so that it comfortably seats 4!

In the bathroom you will find all of the towels you need, as well as body wash, shampoo and conditioner so you don't have to pack your own.

You are sure to find comfort in this unit as the focus is YOU and your best vacation. It's hard to find a smaller unit that has such attention to detail and emphasis on small-scale luxury, but we assure you that you will find it here.

GUEST ACCESS

All of unit 3 is yours to access! There is also a laundry room (shared) on the side of the building (special hours apply).

Please note that there are TWO OTHER UNITS on this property that will more than likely be occupied during your stay at the Hollingsworth. Like a hotel or apartment, there is potential for noise; however, we ask that our guests all follow our quiet hour rules, and expect that they will. PLEASE be mindful that there are other guests staying below you :)

There are multiple seating areas outside that are open to all units. Guests are free to talk and mingle. Please be respectful of other guests and their property!

This property is run by a local vacation rental management company, Stay Local Vacation Rentals. Vanessa & Nicole are available through Vrbo messaging app.

****As stated on this listing, there is a security camera on the outside of this property, facing the parking area. This is for the safety of our guests and peace of mind when the units are vacant.

****Potential for noise: this is a top floor unit and it is very likely that the bottom floor unit will be occupied while you stay with us. Like any other hotel or apartment, you may hear doors shutting, muffled voices, etc at times. We ask that all guests abide by our quiet time hours: 10pm-7am.

****AC: This unit now has its own AC and guests are welcome to control the temp to their liking :) (within reason!)

****If you need to reach us, we ask that we keep our correspondence to Vrbo messaging as much as possible. This keeps an accurate record of our conversation and is easily accessible by an account representative in the event of an issue.


Please note: Our cancellation policy will be in effect for reservations during hurricane season, as it is any other time.

To ensure maximum flexibility for your travel plans, we HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking your stay.

***CLEANING:

Our cleaning team does a superb job and you will not be required to clean prior to check out beyond small, normal tasks like locking the doors and windows, turning off the lights, doing dishes, etc. However, any guest mishaps, no-shows, damage, late check outs, etc will incur a fee via the cleaning company we use and will be charged to the guest.
