Weekend Getaway

Location was great! Studio apartment was good. Was very nice to have a balcony to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch and listen to the ocean. Just a few steps onto the beach/ocean. Perfect Spot to relax! Will definitely return again.

Love the property - vegetation is still recovering from hurricane - but that’s expected - I did find out we paid 1 1/2 times more per night for our stay than another couple who booked at the same time - that is concerning - is it VRBO that makes it so much higher ?

Great Winter Get Away

Property manager was very helpful. The unit was clean and well stocked. We stayed in the same unit last year. It was the same, all in good order. The property remains in bad shape, following the storm. Understandable. We hope the owners are committed to restoring it. It will take time. Still a wonderful location right on the beach.

Great views, well appointed

We loved our stay! Studio well appointed and cute, balcony and views great! Right on the beach, we listened to the sounds of waves every night! Incredible sunset view from our unit and balcony. Quiet! Screen doors could use a replacement, but other than that it was perfect! One star down on the cleaning because the cleaner apparently didn’t clean behind the bathroom door. Everything else was very clean. We hope to be back.

Beautiful Beach

Can't say enough about how beautiful the beach and set up was! Loved it! It's small and quiet, no large crowds anywhere. Perfect set up for us as a couple looking to just relax and put our feet in the sand for a short vaca while combing a trip to the east coast to visit family. Our first time on Long Boat Key and really hope to come back!

The condo was nice and had a really good view. Especially sunset! It’s location is just a short drive to restaurants, shopping and jet ski rentals. The turtle bar cafe was good and the shore restaurant was amazing! Would love to go back again and try out some other activities and restaurants.

Quiet and relaxing

We loved the room and property. I know we live in Florida and the ants are everywhere. But there were ants in the bathroom and you couldnt leave anything out in the kitchen. Because the ants would be all over it. Other than that we loved the place!

Great view, mediocre unit, limited services and poor communication

Ants in unit, inadequate number umbrellas for beach, pool was small and filled with unsupervised children, no oversite from management, not told that I had to strip my own bed or process my own garbage until check out. At this price I don’t expect to be a maid. Won’t be back.

The red tide disaster

Well I must enter this and explain why would I rate everything top notch yet are time was not the most enjoyable but it had nothing to do with the property as “red tide “was absolutely horrible. we had an ocean front room and for the last five days of our stay we couldn’t go out on our balcony unless we were coughing which also kept us from going to the beach Locals told us it was the worst they had ever experienced. It was just luck of the draw but mother nature was very tough this time We certainly will go back to the property and hope for much better weather !
