Our stay was amazing. We had a fantastic weekend. To be honest looking at the Marina from our window kind of made me want to stay there forever. I didn’t like the surrounding outside of the hotel too much, but up the road we came across the Ringling Brothers Museum and that was one fun activity we did while there, of course we couldn’t leave without visiting the tiki bar where my husband proposed to me again!!! Fantastic Memories!

Great location for aviation enthusiasts and bar band aficionados

This is a hotel room condo in a very dated Ramada Inn. The open tiki bar hosts a band most nights, although one night it was bingo. Directly under the flight path of Sarasota airport you can count the rivets or hear the jet engines of the many daily aircrafts in and out of town. You can hear the bar or the airplanes distinctly. Bring extra toilet paper because you only get one roll. Coffee maker is the proprietary hotel kind so you can buy packs from front desk but can’t brew what you brung. The room overlooks a marina so that can be kinda fun. Price value is fine just don’t expect a three star experience.

Good inexpensive place. Nice bed. Poor lighting. NO closet at all. Friday and Saturday nights are noisy due to the bar by the pool.

Great Location

There are 2 already on the wall but since there is no closet with hangave stayed here in the past before booking this unit. It's in a great location - close to everything. The unit has water views which was beautiful. The room is small and I wish there were more racks to hang towels and clothing.

Made a quick trip to watch baseball - room for centrally located, easy access to the stadium, quick trip to great airport. Love the view, tiki bar and music, and marina! Would stay again

It's just a hotel room and on the small size at that. It was updated. When entering the shower/toilet area you had to squeeze by the lavatory. The bed was so tall that my was almost unable to climb into it.

Have stayed here multiple times. Having everything on site or within walking is a treasure. The room was nice and more updated that the photos suggest.

Get a hotel room instead

Just a hotel room without the benefit of housekeeping and services like extra towels! Although you get a hefty cleaning fee when you leave. We had a coffee pot but no outlet anywhere so had to put it next to sink (if you unplug blow dryer). The heavy blackout curtains cover the air conditioner/heater so you get no flow. We had to fold them up to get airflow. The bathroom and it’s door were very narrow. You get charged extra if you need amenities replaced. We also had no extra blankets in the room and had trouble keeping the room temperature comfortable. The door to outside had gaps so sunlight came through. We did like the marina area and the live music from tiki bar at the Ramkota.

Property description did not mention continuous air traffic. Planes were low and loud 24 - 7. Outdoor music at adjacent outdoor bar was loud and went late into the night. Passersby would knock on the unit's door. Failed to meet expectations.
