Adorable 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath house in historic downtown Sarasota on famous Burns Court. The house is full of light with floor to ceiling windows in the cozy living room, letting in lots of natural light in the breakfast nook and kitchen. Enjoy the Florida weather while dining on the private outdoor patio that gives you the feeling that you are away from it all while being in the middle of it all! Equipped with ALL NEW APPLIANCES and all the amenities you need, this house is your home away from home.
Walk to shops, restaurants, the cinema....just about everything you need is within easy walking distance. Enjoy everything downtown Sarasota has to offer and never have to drive to get there. This cozy home, built in 1929 has the historic charm with modern conveniences. One of Sarasota's favorite restaurants, Owens Fish Camp, is just three doors down. Lido Beach and St. Armand's circle are 3 miles, a short drive or a brisk power walk over the bridge. Come and enjoy your trip in paradise!!

Fabulous!

This is our 3rd time studying here and each time gets better. Home has recently had a MAJOR renovation with an all new kitchen, windows and more! Wonderful location, easy access to town. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

The 1926 home has been beautifully updated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The home is downtown and walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, Bayfront Park and Selby Botanical Gardens, but the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.

Everything is as advertised AND even better! The host is the most responsive I've ever had! Everything was great! Brand new appliances! A/C works great! Great parking, great location, AND very quiet neighborhood! Don't let the age of the house fool you, it does not smell old! Kim’s Burns Court property is perfect for someone looking to enjoy Sarasota in a quaint free standing home walking distance away from the downtown area. The property is clean and well appointed. Truly has everything you need. Very quiet which is amazing when you are so close to downtown. I would highly recommend this property.

Just a great little bungalow in the heart of Sarasota, close to everything but still very quiet. Burns Court Cinema and Owens Fish Camp are in your backyard. Very very comfortable home, spotless. We’ve already booked our return!

Perfect Cottage

From Start to finish this cottage experience and having Kim Daniel as a host convinced me once and for all I will NEVER stay at another hotel! What a great experience. Clean. Covid free. Nice neighborhood and extremely friendly people with EVERYTHING within walking distance. And 30% less expensive even than getting a hotel. I’m a believer!! Thanks Kim. I can see why

I can see why this vrbo is rated exceptionable, cause it was. Clean, comfortable, and well situated. Thought we were going to spend a lot of time at the beaches and we did, but found ourselves enjoying the things downtown. Great option!!!

Would book again!

The property was great! Clean, perfect size for 1-4 people and the outdoor area in the back is a big win. But even better is the location. You can walk to anywhere you would need to go, so easy! The only place you would need to drive to is the beach but since that wasn't on our list, it didn't matter for us. We parked and never used the car. The owner was very responsive and communicative. Highly recommend this rental!

I would highly recommend this historic home in Burns Court. It was just perfect for our four day stay in Sarasota. Very clean and nicely decorated. Fully stocked kitchen. Short walk to many restaurants and short ride to Beach. We enjoyed the bricked back patio. Hated to leave this gem!

A perfect 1920’s bungalow in an historic neighborhood

This comfy charming home was a perfect way to enjoy Sarasota on foot and leave the car at home. We walked to the grocery, library, lectures, opera, symphony, live theater, book stores, galleries, movies including an art house down the street, botanical garden, waterfront park, jazz wine bar, restaurants with every cuisine imaginable, small businesses selling everything, and clothing and home goods resale shops that benefit non-profits. We enjoyed the quiet patio with an umbrella table. The owners are super and attentive to every need of their guests. We walked to the transit center nearby to catch convenient busses to St. Armand’s Circle, the Mote Aquarium, and more. This home allowed us to relax and smell the flowers, literally. What a gift.

Charming cottage, excellently equipped and quiet convenient location.

The cottage is in a quiet street, opposite an excellent restaurant, alongside similar cottages built in the 1920s. There is a good movie theatre at the end of the street. The cottage is conveniently located, a ten minute walk from Main Street and the Bayfront area, and a short drive from the beaches on the keys. The cottage is well equipped - it had everything my wife and I wanted; and it is in very good decorative order, with lots of art that we really enjoyed. We recommend the property very highly.
