    Lido Key is located on a laid back barrier island close to trendy and vibrant downtown Sarasota on the west coast of Florida. The area is known for great beaches, good food, outdoor activities, local attractions and lots of sunshine. We are centrally located on Lido Key a block to the beach and short 10 minute walk to St. Armand's Circle for boutique shopping and numerous outdoor seating restaurants. Downtown is minutes away over the Ringling Bridge.

    This new to market second floor bright and sunny island decorated two bedroom one bath unit provides all the comforts you'd expect after a long day at the beach or exploring the local area. With vaulted ceiling, ceiling fans throughout and recessed lighting to set the mood along with the open floor plan it's warm and welcoming and easy to relax and entertain at any time. Located in the quiet and charming Chateau Village condo complex it's one of only 10 units in the complex which is conveniently located on South Lido Key.

    Ted Sperling Park is a 5 minute walk and home to some of the best kayaking and SUP in Florida with the Lido Mangrove tunnels. North Lido Beach is home to large colonies of sea birds year round and great beach walks. Downtown minutes away!

Jan was great in communicating with us on our stay. This small cottage feel condo was super clean, bright and cozy. The location was great for the beach and to St. Armand’s circle. We would certainly stay here again.

Lovely, very clean and comfortable apartment, looks exactly like in the picture. It is in perfect location close to everything we needed, about 5 minutes walk to the beach and 12 minutes walking distance to St Armands Circle. We enjoyed our two weeks stay there . Jan was a great host, it was very easy to communicate with her. She let us to check in a few hours earlier. We definitely recommend Jan’s apartment and looking forward to stay there next time when we come to Sarasota.

Our stay was awesome! It was clean and very nicely decorated, walkable to the beach, and close to restaurants and shopping. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating to our stay! We definitely recommend this condo as a place for a wonderful visit!!!

Jan was fantastic and so communicative! The place was spotless, the beds were comfy, and the sheets were soft!! It was close proximity to everything you need, beach, restaurants, shops, etc! It was the perfect little get away!! Highly recommend and will be returning!

Sunshine on Lido was so perfect for our 5 day stay! The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and beautiful while still being in close proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We loved the designated undercover parking spot. Inside we found the condo to be just as described in the listing and CLEAN! We only used the King bed which was comfy and cozy. Jan and Chris thought of everything - even a small library of books, beach bags, coolers, chairs, umbrella, and a cart for toting on beach day. I would not hesitate to book with them again or recommend their place to friends and family.

This was the perfect place for our 5 night mother daughter get away! The condo had everything we needed; comfortable beds, plenty of towels, a well equipped kitchen stocked with thoughtful items like seasonings, cooking spray, coffee filters, a toaster and any cookware we needed! We used the beach cart with the chairs, beach towels and umbrellas that were provided every day! It’s a short walk to the beautiful Lido Key beach and an easy walk to St Armand’s Circle, where we found amazing restaurants and shops! We easily Ubered over to Sarasota too! The host was super friendly and accommodating and we hope to return some day. We highly recommend this property!

Very clean and cute decorated unit. Only communal outdoor space. Our unit had a weird smell. Owner promptly came over, but could not find the issue. A short walk to the beach. A longer walk to shopping.

Rated it 3/5 stars. This was my first VRBO/rental experience. Typically I book hotels/resorts. We stayed for 3 nights and overall the condo was clean and everything was where it was described. Check-in was easy and the space itself was comfortable. We also were allowed to enter earlier which we appreciated. Variety of sunscreen products were available, all but one were expired. The major issue was the AC. Starting the first night, the unit kept tripping and turning off, even when the fan was set to Auto (and later even when we switched it to On). By our last day, it was cycling badly running for only about 9-10 minutes before shutting off again for long stretches. The condo climbed to 80°F or higher multiple times throughout the day and night, which made it hard to sleep, especially for my two kids, especially with outdoor temps in the 90s the entire vacation. We did not want to jump straight to complaining since we weren’t sure whether it was a real mechanical issue or just how the unit normally ran, and we were hesitant to mess with a WiFi-connected thermostat we did not have instructions for. The owner did reach out on our last night after she said she got a ‘high-temp alert’ on her end, but by that point the unit had already been cycling on and off for the past 3 days so it wasn’t really new to us. She was responsive and apologetic, and it sounds like the AC company later found a clogged overflow sensor was the cause, but that fix came after we’d already left.

Janice is the ultimate host. She responded immediately when communicating with her and she checked in periodically during our stay to make sure we were enjoying our visit. The apartment was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is in a great location within a short walk to the beach and to St. Armands Circle. We can highly recommend and we plan on staying here again on future visits to Lido Key.

Janice’s place was just as it was described… And just right for us! it was clean and comfortable and close to Lido Beach… we loved having our own little place so close to everything. Jan was a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions or requests. We would happily stay here again!
