The Copan itself functions almost like a small city: on the ground floor and in the building's arcades you will find restaurants, cafés, a bakery, a laundromat, beauty salons, shops, a bookstore, a flower shop, a cheese shop, a wine store, a cachaça shop, and even an art gallery.



The República neighborhood blends the architectural history of downtown São Paulo with a thriving cultural and culinary scene. In recent years, the area has come to host award-winning restaurants, bars, galleries, cultural spaces, and independent shops, all within walking distance.

Just steps away are other establishments connected to the chef, such as A Casa do Porco, Hot Pork, Merenda da Cidade, and Sorveteria da Cidade, along with many other restaurants, bars, and cafés that make República one of the most exciting gastronomic hubs in São Paulo.



Inside the Copan, you will find options such as Cuia (a Bib Gourmand restaurant by Bel Coelho), Sorveteria Tem Umami, Padaria Santa Efigênia, Café Floresta, Dona Zelda, Magg Café, World Café Bar, Casa do Raimundo, Fel, and Paloma.

Guest Access:

To ensure access clearance to the Edifício Copan, we kindly ask that you send a copy of a valid ID document for all guests on the reservation — national ID (RG), driver's license (CNH), or passport.



This is a requirement from the building's management for security and access control purposes, given the high volume of people in the building. The information will be used solely for registration at the entrance.

Other Things to Note:

The Copan is one of the most iconic and historic buildings in São Paulo, with over 60 years of history and a prime location in the heart of the city. As it is an older construction, the electrical system has some limitations. To avoid power outages, we recommend not using too many electronic appliances at the same time. By using the equipment mindfully and without overloading the system, everything will work normally.



The Copan is a residential building with more than 1,000 apartments, so it is not possible to fully control noise coming from other units. Occasional sounds may occur from time to time. During the week, especially between 8 AM and 5 PM, there may also be internal movement or minor maintenance work in the building.
