To address the ongoing issues at this hotel, I believe a change in both staff and management is necessary. While the employees greet guests with friendly smiles, their conduct has been dishonest.
I booked and paid for a junior suite intended for three people. However, my receipt incorrectly stated it was for only two guests, although this type of suite accommodates three without an additional charge. The staff refused to honor the booking as it was, and I was forced to pay an extra €200 in cash, as they claimed not to accept credit cards. They also declined to provide a receipt for this payment.
The service was equally disappointing. Only two towels were placed in our room each day, housekeeping did little more than make the bed, and they did not clean the room or remove used plates and cups from breakfast. When we tried to exchange our pool towels, we were told we could only do so after two days.
I booked this hotel through Expedia, and they are requesting the receipt for the amount I paid to process a refund. However, the hotel never provided it. They claimed they would send it to me via email, but that never happened.
Overall, the experience fell far below expectations, and I cannot recommend this hotel.
