DOS TORTUGAS CASITA
1 BDR, 1 BA LUXURIOUS CONDO. Sleeps max 4. EXCELLENT VALUE IN SOUTH CAPITOL AREA!
The casita, just off Don Diego Ave, is 1/2 mile to the Railyard District, 3/4 mile to the world famous downtown Santa Fe Plaza where shopping, dining, and gallery browsing awaits. Also walk to Trader Joe’s and other stores at the Coronado Center, Clafoutis French Cafe, Maria’s Mexican Kitchen, Santa Fe Antiques and Flea Market, and Salvador Perez Park (“the train park” - vintage Santa Fe RR locomotive on site, playground, sand volleyball, multi-purpose fields, and picnic tables).
The casita features traditional Santa Fe ceiling beams, and was completely renovated in 2018, including hardwood bamboo floors; bathroom cabinetry,; new kitchen appliances, tile counter tops, sink and subway tile backsplash. New to this condo are a Bosch dishwasher and Kenmore washer and dryer. A new walk in shower was added in 2022. All the modern conveniences are here in this home away from home. The bedroom has a comfy Tempurpedic queen bed, a tall chest of drawers for storing your things, and a vanity for makeup prep. In the living room, amenities include a queen-sized, memory-foam sleeper sofa, a desk for computer work, and a kitchen table. In the summer, the condo is cooled by an evaporative cooling system (A/C is rare in Santa Fe homes), in the winter, gas heating keeps the condo toasty warm. Relax outside on your own private patio, grill up some dinner, or create a romantic ambience by activating the casita’s light dimmer switches. Kitchen includes coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, margarita-making essentials, dishes, pots and pans and more. Enjoy your living room AND BEDROOM flat screen TV, with free programming and WiFi/ internet.

Very cozy, clean, and quiet condo. The welcome chips and homemade salsa were very appreciated. Very close to Railway area, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. Condo was well equipped with everything we could have needed. Bed was very comfortable. Owners are very responsive. We will definitely stay there again! Highly recommend!

Fabulous stay! This is our second time at this location and it just keeps getting better and better. Close to grocery, Maria’s, Santa Fe Antique Mall, rail yard…..bus route. Perfect! Will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this cozy casita! We lacked for nothing as the unit was very well equipped. It's located in a quiet part of town in a very quiet complex. A short walk away from Trader Joe's. Easy walk to Railyard, longer walk to the Plaza. We are avid walkers, so neither was an issue for us. We did take the free shuttle from Railyard area to Canyon Rd., which was super convenient (search Santa Fe Pickup for stops and times for free shuttle). Enjoyed the back patio in the morning for coffee, and lounging in the living room in the evening after a long day out and about. Recommend Maria's New Mexican Kitchen, a very short walk away. Delicious food and great staff. A couple other favorite stops: The Cowgirl BBQ (they often have live music). Joe's Tequila Bar (HUGE tequila and mezcal menu!) for margaritas and bites in their lovely outdoor patio area. Ahmyo Wine Garden on Canyon Rd has lovely wines (and beer), small bites, and a huge, relaxing ourtoor garden space. Great farmers market at Railyard (check website for seasonal dates) and on Sunday we enjoyed the artisan's market there. We also loved the live music in the plaza each evening. The casita is a fantastic base for exploring all that Santa Fe has to offer!

Wonderful place

I won’t repeat what many others have said about this great property (clean, quiet, responsive owners, etc).The sofa bed is very comfortable, it has an optional topper. An inexpensive good Mediterranean restaurant close by that is not in their book is Pyramid Cafe.

Wonderful Unit and Location

Well decorated and lots of amenities. It has everything you could need for a short or long stay. Cute patio with a propane grill. You can walk to all the sites including The Plaza. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Absolutely perfect! You lack for nothing staying in this thoughtfully put together casita. Communication is exacty the same. We loved our first visit to Santa Fe and plan to return. There is so much to do/see. Restaurants -Tomasita’s at the Railyard (try the Swirl Margarita), breakfast at The Pantry, rooftop bars and so many others near the Plaza. Museums, the Dale Ball Trails, the Capitol, Canyon Road and the Galleries, The Basilica and on and on. Great casita in a great city! Thank you.

We enjoyed this cute condo an appreciated its central location. You can walk to groceries, cafes and the railyard. The railyard has the farmer's market and a stop of the free city bus which goes to old town and canyon galleries.

Delightful, comfirtable, and charming

What a wonderful surprise this was being so close to everything we wanted to see while in Santa Fe. The Casita is charming and comfortable, and the thoughtful attention to detail is most impressive. We usually stay with our daughter and her husband, but other family members were staying with them, and this was not only convenient, but also much more affordable than a hotel. Its access to the Plaza and the Railyard is amazing, and the reserved off-street parking space was an added bonus.Thank you for making us feel so much at home.

Fabulous getaway in Santa Fe

My spouse and I stayed for 3 nights and this castia was perfect. Many southwestern details that added a sweet charm and plenty of amenities for anything we may have forgotten. Short drive to historical sites, food, and shopping. Also nearby National Parks and hiking. We loved it here and highly recommend.
