You'll be less than a mile away from the Santa Fe Farmer's Market where you'll be able to go shopping for some unique knick-knacks, fruits, herbs, spices, and many more. Take a trip down to the Santa Fe Children's Museum and treat your kids to a fun-filled day full of colorful and creative activities.

After you've had enough exploring for the day, head back home to this humble abode and step in through the front door to find a quaint living area, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and comfortable antique furnishings set up in each bedroom. You'll be staying in a truly special home, some parts of it dating all the way back to the 1700s! Check out the enclosed yard in the back at sunset and stroll alongside over 30 different types of fruiting plants. Make sure to bring your friends and sit out at the tables with a couple of good drinks, then head inside, hop into some pajamas, slip under the covers and doze off into dreamland.

Unique Place
Very unique property. Nice back yard space to sit in. Bedrooms are comfortable. "Master" shower is quite nice and it's nice that shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided. Toilet paper choice left something to be desired and none of the seating options were very comfortable, but it suited us well and I would stay there again.

We liked the uniqueness of this place and the proximity to the plaza (5 mins away). Bathroom and kitchen upgrades are very nice and beds are comfy. Lots of places to spread out.

Historic Santa Fe House
Great home to stay in while visiting family. Very unusual layout which the grandkids loved. Cold and snowing so we could not enjoy the yard. Only suggestion is that it could use a microwave. Great washer and dryer available for use. Two bathrooms was a big plus.

Unique but sparse
The house is historic in its design. It is located close to downtown. The radiator style heating system was not very effective. The home felt chilled most of the time. Thankfully we had two space heaters to provide additional heat. We discovered radiant floor heating in one bathroom which was not mentioned in the property description or check in information. My wife was able to get it working which made that room more comfortable. Kitchen needs a larger drip coffee maker. A 5 cup model doesn’t cut it for 4 adults. Also, the kitchen could use a microwave. The wood stove would have been useful but we were instructed that it was only for decoration. Disappointed! Overall we enjoyed the experience but some attention to a few details would have made the experience much better.

Observations
The property should be advertised as NO air conditioning. There needs to be a microwave! Steps in both baths are difficult and dangerous for elderly people such as us. Garden area could be beautiful, but it is in need of weeding.
