'Very nice place. The people were very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend the private safari the drivers are really good.'

'The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better! The room looked onto the pool and was beautiful. The rain couldn’t be helped but it was quite loud against the roof of the room. The Sri Lankan breakfast after my safari was lovely and I also had dinner the night before, however I would say there wasn’t very clear communication of timings or where to go once I checked in but for dinner the guy from the hotel on WhatsApp answered all of my questions.'

'Heerlijk zwembad en super vriendelijke eigenaar! Eten was goed geregeld en lekker lokaal en ook met de safari werden we goed geholpen. '

'Positive Review Had a wonderful stay at Hantara Udawalawe. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide great support. The peaceful surroundings and overall hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!'

'A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. 'Hadde et veldig fint opphold med flotte verter og en veldig fin camp. '

'Fint opphold på dette hotellet'

'Vi var her ifm safari i udawalawe. Hotellet er bare noen få minutter med bil unna inngangen. Veldig koselig sted! Fine og vennlige folk. God mat. '

'Personeel is vriendelijk, kamer was net en goed, balkon en frigo aanwezig. Zwembad was minder verzorg maar toch verfrissend'

'It is a relaxed good maintaned hotel. We were in the governors Suite and really liked it!'

'We stayed for two night cause were visiting Udawalawe national park, which is about 30mis away so the hotel is a very good basepoint. Hotel is a walking distance from bus station and town central. Arrived and got complimentary drinks, super nice welcome and info of jeep/driver arrangements for the safari. The safari is a couple of dollars more expensive if you get it through the hotel but so easy, I highly recommend doing it that way. You get breakfast to go and the jeep and driver were...

'We can’t say enough good things about the staff - the hospitality was amazing! They went over and above to look after us! We did not realize you could book a safari drive with them but based on the level of service I wished I had booked with them. Thank you for a wonderful stay!'

'Egentligen ett riktigt coolt ställe. men med svenska kronans värde gentemot dollarn så blir det väldigt dyrt. Bodde bara en natt, men bra mat, god frukost, trevlig personal och trevlig promenad i regnskogen med en guide som kunde och hörde alla djur.'

'Very clean room. Really nice people. Cannot do enough for you. '

'Stedet var hyggeligt til et par dage købte en safari tur dette skulle vi dog ikke havde gjort kostede 25000 rupees og så kun få fugle til gengæld kan man gratis køre ud af vejen og se elefanter endda med stødtænder '

'Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation.'

'När vi kon fram så fanns vår bokning inte. Vi fick istället ett mindre rum till det tredubbla priset. För övrigt mysigt hotell nen bra service men toaletterna fungerade ej och samma sak efter rumbyte.'

'I can’t recommend this place enough! Great communication with Eric all the way through, we came a bit late, and before we could order our meals over email and it was ready. Great WiFi! Evening watching fireflies in the dark. The food both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Eric also helped book our safari trip witch was terrific!'
