  • The Parrot Nest is een van de huisjes van Old-Sanibel gelegen aan het rustige East End van het eiland. Sinds 1955 verwelkomen onze charmante huisjes bezoekers en tot het begin van de jaren 1960 werden ze met een veerboot van het vasteland naar onze kust gebracht.
    Onze huisjes zijn onlangs gerenoveerd in een kustdecor en bieden u episch comfort, ontspanning in een prachtige kamer. We zijn op loopafstand van de historische vuurtoren van Sanibel en de vissteiger, prachtige beschietingsstranden, winkels en restaurants.
    Als je wilt, gebruik onze gratis fietsen en verken kilometers paden die het eiland bedekken en leiden naar natuurreservaten, kajakplekken, afgelegen stranden en kronkelend langs meer eetgelegenheden, winkels en galerijen. Het huisje Rosella is een charmante kamer met een kingsize bed en een nieuw ligbed (twin).

This cottage was perfect for a solo shelling trip to Sanibel! The extra beach towels came in handy, and the free bikes for trips to the lighthouse, breakfast/dinner & ice cream were a huge bonus. The bathroom was super clean & the bed was very comfy. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!

The location was nice being close to the restaurant and bagel shop. It was quite a haul to the beach, especially carrying gear. We left the suggestion to add more linens to the restroom, but other than that the place was very nice.

The cottage was wonderful, and we appreciated having the bikes as many of the restaurants were a good distance away. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

There were bikes available at no extra charge. We biked to breakfast, dinner, and the beach at the lighthouse. Amazing! Everything is so close (except the grocery store).

Great location,close to beaches and restaurants. Loved having the bikes to get around without having to drive. Nice having beach chairs provided.Really liked our room and private patio.

Well known Ice cream shop, restaurant and gift shop across street. 10 minute walk to bay. Close to lighthouse. All new inside with well maintained outside. Large sitting area. Nicely surprised knowing it is probably not new. Very willing to rebook.

Beautiful oasis on the east end of the beach. Comfortable with great amenities including free bicycles (there are miles of bike paths!) onsite laundry and beach chairs with umbrella. Nice bed and cozy inside cottage. It had everything we needed. Close to dining, shopping and coffee and ice cream shops! Lots of great restaurant choices. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Wonderful stay!

This is the perfect spot for two people. The hotel was ideally located next to a small shopping center with a restaurant, beach goods shop, and ice cream parlor...and just 5 minute walk from the beach! It was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for a long-weekend getaway. We'll definitely be back!

Ideal location for us! It is walking/biking distance to great restaurants, ice cream, beach, and coffee shop (which we needed since B&B has a coffee maker but no coffee). Free bikes were our favorite perk. We had a few missing items we requested, and the host was attentive getting us two out of three—just missing tissues. Bathroom shower ceiling could use some handiwork, but overall the place is cozy and comfortable. It is in a busy public area on the grounds, but blinds were sufficient for privacy!

Made a good choice!

Our cottage was bright and pretty! Perfect spot! We felt right at home. Very private and quiet! There’s bikes to ride, beach stuff, buckets for shelling! Great time to visit! We’ll be back!

Cute, clean & amazing area

This property was decorated so adorable, having everything you would need for a great stay & the balcony off your room with a view of the beach was our favorite part! Not only was is close to the beach but it was close to restaurants and shopping centers as well!!

Nice location

The property was a studio style space tucked away in an area close to the lighthouse beach end of the island. I enjoyed the space and especially having a bike. For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. I could have used a bit more towels as they were not stored on site and kitchen tools as I planned on prepping about half the meals. Overall it was very quiet. It reminded me of an upscale campground. I could only hear my neighbors when they used the bathroom but I started shutting my interior bathroom door Incase they were up before me. The island is still very much in a build back state. Was sorry to see that most businesses are missing but hopefully over time there will be more to the area to explore. I didn’t have a need to communicate with the property manager while visiting but the notifications prior to the trip were very helpful.
