Your rainforest escape awaits! We’re delighted to welcome you and hope your stay is filled with beautiful sunsets, island adventures, and plenty of time to relax.
Please take a few moments to review this guide so you can settle in comfortably and make the most of your visit.
Before arrival: The primary guest must provide a government-issued ID and sign a short-term rental agreement before occupying the property.
Your Private Island Retreat:
Nestled on one acre in a quiet neighborhood bordering El Yunque National Rainforest, Villa de Dream offers sweeping views of the valley, Puerto Rico’s mountains, the Atlantic Ocean, and Old San Juan.
Cool off in the plunge pool, stretch out in a hammock, or enjoy a refreshing drink as the coquí frogs provide your evening soundtrack. Spend the day exploring, then return for a home-cooked meal, a spectacular sunset, and a friendly game of pool.
You’re also welcome to enjoy fruit growing on the property when it’s in season! Depending on the time of year, you may find soursop, bananas, plantains, guava, star fruit, avocados, mandarins, dragon fruit, mulberries, and more.

Your reservation includes the entire property:
Main home: Two bedrooms and a full kitchen.
Attached casita: Its own kitchen and one additional bedroom, with sleeping space for two adults plus bunk beds best suited for children or smaller adults.
Amenities include Roku TVs in every bedroom, a plunge pool, hammocks, a pool table, darts, evening dance lighting in the bar, a covered outdoor dining area, gas stoves, a barbecue, decks, and patios with breathtaking views.
For added comfort and peace of mind, the villa has an automatic backup generator and dedicated water cisterns to help maintain essential power, internet, and water service during interruptions. Island resources are precious, so we appreciate your help conserving water and electricity throughout your stay.

Villa de Dream offers a peaceful setting within driving distance of wonderful island adventures. Visit Luquillo Beach, hike El Yunque, explore Old San Juan, or book a quad-riding excursion.
The property is approximately:
15 minutes from town and Walmart.
A short drive from El Yunque.
20 miles from San Juan.
30 minutes from beautiful beaches.
Two minutes from a bakery, Madina’s Bar, and a small grocery store.
We recommend picking up most of your groceries on the way to the villa so you can arrive ready to relax.
Please plan to have a car for your stay. Taxi service numbers are available in the house guidebook for advance scheduling, and Uber is another option.
You may occasionally see our property manager or lawn service caring for the grounds. If you need anything, we’re always available by message.

Reservations, Arrival, and Departure
Check-in: 4:00 p.m.
Checkout: 11:00 a.m.
Early check-in or late checkout requires prior owner approval.
The advertised cancellation policy will be honored, with a 10% service fee collected.
Guests, Visitors, and Gatherings
The home is reserved for guests listed on the rental agreement. Please contact the hosts for approval before inviting anyone else to the property.
A maximum of four daytime visitors may be permitted, subject to host approval.
Overnight visitors require advance owner approval, are subject to available sleeping accommodations, and will incur an additional guest fee.
Parties are not allowed. Requests for small gatherings may be considered at the hosts’ sole discretion.
Any approved gathering must follow all rental agreement terms and house rules.
The primary guest is responsible for everyone in their group, including visitors, and for the costs of any damage or complaints arising during the stay.
Be a Thoughtful Neighbor
Please enjoy yourselves while respecting the peaceful neighborhood. Keep music, voices, and outdoor activities at considerate levels, especially at night, and follow the quiet hours provided by your hosts. Weekdays 10pm, Weekends 12pm
Excessive intoxication is not permitted. In the unlikely event there are reports of excessive noise, excessive intoxication, or other rental agreement violations, may result in termination of your stay, removal from the property, and loss of the rental amount paid. Neighbor or local authority complaints will be reviewed by the owner, who will determine whether removal is necessary.
Good communication can resolve many concerns, so please reach out if you have questions.
Smoking
Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the residence. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor bar area only. Please dispose of all smoking materials safely and keep the area clean.
Pool and Child Safety
Please supervise children closely throughout the property. Children in or near the pool must always be supervised by a responsible adult.
Turn off the pool and bar lights when they’re not in use.
Safety, Security, and Property Care:
Do not disable or tamper with the fire alarm, security alarm, exterior security cameras, or Wi-Fi system. Doing so will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.
Do not enter or force entry into locked areas.
The backup generator operates automatically. Please do not adjust or tamper with the generator, its controls, or related equipment.
Park on the driveways.
Keep driveway gates closed, opening them only when vehicles are entering or leaving.
Please treat the home, furnishings, and grounds with care.
Life this close to the rainforest comes with some curious little neighbors! Help us keep them outdoors by disposing of food waste promptly and taking all trash to the designated street-side bins by the main gate.
Before checkout, please wash and put away your dishes. Dishwashing is not included in the cleaning fee, and dishes left unwashed will incur an additional cleaning charge.
Before You Say Goodbye:

Wash and put away all dishes.
Take all trash to the designated bins by the main gate.
Tidy any outdoor areas you’ve used.
Return furniture to its original location.
Replace the pool table cover.
Turn off the air conditioning, pool lights, and bar lights.
Leave the key and gate opener at the property. Missing items will incur a replacement fee.
