A Country Feel in the Middle of Boerne

Great new property situated in the middle of Boerne. Very secluded and surrounded by huge oak trees. Easy walk to Main Street (6 blocks). The Old Depot Walking Trail is a half block away. Take the trail East to Cibolo Creek or West to Bumdoodlers Pies! The Depot Cottage was newly built in Dec 2016 out of Hill Country limestone. It is modeled after the Old Nature Center Historic Building on Main Street. Depot Cottage is located on a street that used to be named Depot Street and housed the Boerne Depot Station. It is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and has all the modern amenities as well (WIFI is included). The three acre property is gated and there is a small fenced in grass area to keep pets safe. You will see whitetail and axis deer on the adjoining properties. Enjoy all the convenience of downtown Boerne while feeling like you are secluded in the Texas Hill Country.

Depot Cottage is precious, crisp, clean, cozy, well-appointed, safe and secure. In a word, perfect. Host was kind and understanding helping to direct me after arriving late at night. I highly recommend selecting Depot Cottage as a weekend getaway or longer respite from the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful cabin in a rural and open part of Boerne. Although we were only a short drive from the commercial side of town, we never looked out the window without seeing deer grazing nearby. The view from the front porch is of a field and wooded area that was very peaceful. We ran into the friendly host Terry as we were leaving one day and he made sure we had everything we needed. It has every amenity we expect from a quality rental, such as a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and comfortable living and sleeping areas. We would not hesitate staying here again when in the Hill Country.

I love this little house! The setting is so tranquil. Sitting on the porch with my morning coffee while watching the deer and hawks was a great way to start each day. It feels like you’re out in the middle of nowhere but actually everything I needed to do while in Boerne was just a few minutes away.

Fabulous Cottage- We will be back!

Such a lovely cottage with a beautiful view. My husband and I sat outside in the evenings to see deer grazing, which was so relaxing. The cottage itself has every amenity needed for a stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the entire cottage was clean. There is a small, fenced area for a dog in the front of the cottage that is enough room to run off energy. The weekend we booked was rainy, but with the covered patio and chairs, we were still able to sit outside under the covered porch without getting wet. So relaxing and we will definitely be back. Oh, I almost forgot, it is close to a walking nature path and is a walkable distance to shops and restaurants maybe about 10 min walk away.

Gem in Boerne, Texas

The Depot Cottage is truly a GEM in Boerne, Texas. Location and amenities are nothing short of excellent. It's a peaceful setting with lots of wildlife surrounding you - deer. We loved the neighborhood. We took the trail-way for a quick morning walk. The Depot Cottage is equipped with very, very nice and beautiful furniture and every convenience item that you need. The Depot Cottage interior looks like it was professionally decorated - quality throughout! We loved our stay and will hopefully stay again. Thank you, Terry. Our stay was top notch!!
