Fabulous Ocean View, Walking Distance to the Beach

Villa Veranera is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath luxury villa with spectacular views overlooking Samara and Carrillo Bays.

Hear the sounds of the surf with gentle sea breezes sifting through, with monkeys, birds and nature in a tropical setting.

Location is an approx. 3 min. drive or 10-15 min. walk to the beach and a 5 min. drive or additional 10-min. walk to town. Distance to the beach is 7/10ths of a mile or 1.1 kms.

Private shuttle pick-ups can be arranged from both International Airports.

Disinfecting and sanitizing of the unit is done between each stay.

Excellent place to stay

We stayed here with two kids (8-10). Believe me, the view and pool are even better than the pictures! The bedcouch worked well for the kids. Sherry & Larry took care of us in the right way: relevant information, good company and support when we needed it in emergency situation. Do not hesitate: book!

Villa Veranera is a special place that makes a person feel at home immediately. The suite was perfect for us. The panoramic view is absolutely stunning!! Sherry was an outstanding host. The property is just beautiful and very comfortable. The relaxing pool in the evening watching the sunsets was just the best. And hearing the howlers in the trees near by was quite exciting. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood but still very close to town.

We were really looking forward to our honeymoon stay here, especially after seeing all the glowing reviews—and there are many great things about this place. The view is absolutely stunning, there were plenty of linens and towels, a fully stocked kitchen, access to a washer/dryer, and the location is very convenient to town.However, our experience was unfortunately not quite what we expected. When we arrived, the home didn’t appear to have been properly cleaned for quite some time. It felt like it hadn’t been prepared for new guests, which was disappointing and didn’t set a great tone for us. The owner did offer to send the maid over to clean, which we appreciated, but at that point we questioned the maids abilities and we just wanted our privacy.We also had another issue regarding damage to our property but to their credit, the owners were responsive, and everything was resolved fairly by the end of our stay, including a partial refund, which we appreciated.The owners are very friendly and communicative. Just note that the layout includes a shared carport and not too private patio area, so if you’re looking for total seclusion (like we were for a honeymoon), that might be something to consider.Overall, there are definitely positives here and it’s clear that other guests have had wonderful stays. It’s possible our experience was a one-off, but the cleanliness issue was hard to overlook.

Stunning view and incredibly friendly hosts! We really enjoyed our stay here. The VRBO app did show the house’s location to be very close to downtown Samara… but it was actually about a 5-10 minute drive. Other than the location being a little different than expected, everything else exceeded expectations! Would stay again!

Sherry and Larry were great hosts and the apartment was a perfect fit. There are beautiful views of the ocean from both the window and balcony, and the neighborhood is quiet, which we really appreciated. Larry and Sherry were wonderful hosts! The view from the balcony is truly gorgeous , and the apartment is as listed: spacious bedroom, full kitchen, pullout, couch, and pool. Please note that you will need a car to enjoy your stay here. The listing map does not accurately detail how far it is from downtown Sara. However, a parking place is provided and it is a 10 minute drive.

Wonderful retreat

We LOVED staying here. It was a nice reprieve from the town centre and offered a completely different view being up so high. We did book it because it was walking distance to the beach, but I wouldn't really say it is as it's a pretty dusty dirt road a long way down, so the way back up would be pretty intense.

Magical Tropical Perch To the Sea

Magical location with the best perch to enjoy the spectacular view. Better than the pictures! Sherry and Larry were so kind and welcoming and the villa was perfectly set up with lots of space. Even the kitchen has a view. We enjoyed walking to the beach and back every morning and then exploring the rest of the area during the day. Beautiful!

Magnificent!

We had an amazing time at Larry & Sherry’s beautiful guest villa. Every detail of the unit was well thought out and intentional. You can really tell they have put a lot of thought into making sure it’s just right for the guests. It was hard to leave it was so perfect. From the most epic view on the balcony, to the lovely pool and a wonderful happy hour with the hosts, we had a great time. We hope to come back next time we’re in Samara. Fully recommend!!
