'The hotel is modernized and has all the facilities that are needed for a good stay. It is too far to walk to the city center but all the needs are in the hotel so no need to leave the property. We enjoyed Lamego during a week of festivities which was recommended by the hotel and was much fun!'

'Fijn restaurant met kleine, goede kaart. Fijn zwembad, prachtig uitzicht en beklinkerde toegangsweg.'

'Nice views over the Douro. Friendly staff. Super clean rooms. Bit mixed interior design. Only one chair on the balcony. Breakfast ok, but orange juice unfortunately diluted with water. '

'Mooie b&b in rustige omgeving.

'⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Quinta São José do Barrilário in the Douro Valley! The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vineyards with breathtaking views of the valley. The peaceful atmosphere, lovely accommodations, and stunning scenery made our stay feel truly special. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Portugal’s wine country. A memorable experience and a place we would love to return to!'

'The hotel needs an upgrading to get up to nowadays standards. Everything is allright but not outstanding. Things look rather old and need a refreshing.'

'We just LOVE this place. The area is very beautiful. The couple running this place are just the most sweetest people we met in Portugal so far, they are very loving, caring, helpful and they make you feel like home. We recommend to eat here too one night because they cook amazing too(and really not expensive for what you get!). Room was big and well set up, breakfast is just amazing with fresh baked cake, fruits, bread, coffee ect. We really recommend staying here and for sure come back when we...

'Lovely room, exactly what we expected but the best part about our stay was how helpful the staff was on several occasions.'

Wij komen hier zeker terug.'

'Really enjoyed our stay. Follow the directions provided by the property. Google will take you down a sketchy road. Staff was very responsive to all our questions. Views are 10/10'

Aanrader.'

'Hebergement difficile a trouver. Accès a jus gratuit.

Zwembad helaas ijskoud. '

'Very interesting idea that works brilliantly! The building is full of character, lots of history behind it!'
