For starters, we only had ONE good interaction with the staff there. It was a guy, but i didnt catch his name. He was really nice. Everyone else was rude and acted like everyone was inconveniencing them. Breakfast was an absolute mess. There were people there who loaded up plates of food for their friends to come over and eat. It wasnt well-organized, and the lady stocking breakfast really seemed like she hated her job.
The room keys had a lot of issues with not opening the doors.
The pool area is absolutely disgusting and felt like we were going to catch ebola from it. There were also people living in the hotel, which idk seemed weird to me (maybe thats just a *me* issue, though)
My sister and i make this trip every year, and this is usually the hotel we stay at, because we really like the location. But theyre either under new management, or theyve gone downhill for the worst, because we wont ever stay here again. The only reason i gave 2 stars instead of 1, is because they seem to be renovating, so i'm trying to give them some grace. But this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had in all my years of traveling.
