And the location is perfect as you are right in the middle of all the action. We brought our doodle with us and he enjoyed the room as well. Plenty of space for his bed and water/food setup. We will be returning to The Retro Hotel.'

'If you are one of those people looking for the Grand Hyatt this is not your stop. Look it’s an older hotel and shows some age with the exterior and the interior. Couple cigarette burns in the furniture. But the rooms were super clean, the water was hot, and the shower had lots of pressure. Second time my wife and I have stayed here in last 2 years. 'The staff was great! The woman serving breakfast was especially a delight. Everyone we encountered (staff and guests) were nice and polite. The room was spacious. The bed was wonderful; probably one of the best beds I’ve slept on in a hotel. It was comparable to my bed at home. The only complaints was the tv is small. This is fine, it does the job and it’s just an amenity. Also the toilet took two flushes to go down. Seemed like the tank wasn’t filling up all the way and when you flushed the...
